Hey Ted: How did that thing about strapping on the armor of God work out for you?

Paul “Eddie Munster” Ryan and the Wisconsin GOP political machine pulled out all of the stops for Cruz and handed him Wisonsin. They could not help him outside the state however.

Poor Cruz thought he was good enough to serve two masters at once, the GOPe and the Republican base, but he ended up falling down and taking a faceplant instead. Reminds me of when I tried to date two girls at the same time in college - a tragedy and a farce. Egg all over my face. I feel for you Ryan, you two-faced, worthless SOB.

“Mr. Cruz blamed his defeat principally on the media, which “liked to paint me as some whacked-out theocrat”....”

And why do you suppose they did that Ted? Could it be because you deliberately made an issue of your supposed piety? Cruz is the pure cynical politician who is willing to change his colors to portray himself in whatever way he feels will best serve his ambition. He believes in nothing.

He tried the devout routine and found that it didn’t get him as far as he thought. Now he wants to distance himself from that. I envision Cruz totally reinventing himself over the next few years. He may believe it’s his path to future greatness, but in reality it will cause the few people who still take him seriously to abandon him. He will end up as a pathetic has-been.

If people think that the ‘Never Trumps’ are obnoxious, just wait until the ‘Never Cruz’ machine gets fired up.

Cruz's Constitutional ineligibility is enough, but his incredible hypocrisy on so many other levels is so completely indefensible that the political books will have to finally be renewed with actual cred and other legitimate back up.

Cruz lost me when his campaign pulled that dirty trick on Ben Carson in Iowa.

I voted for Cruz in the TX primary; that was before all the shenanegans with stealing delegates. That was very undignified and made Cruz look bad. 20/20 - I wouldn’t vote for him again.

Somebody please remind me that I have something better to do when Cruz takes the stage. I think I’d rather have a colonscopy than listen to that smug jerk!

Trump's giving him an opportunity to either do the right thing or demonstrate to the world that he's not worth backing ever again.

Which route will Cruz take?

Cruz is the most tone deaf loser in the primary, with Kasich and Bush close on his heels.

Funny Cruz story:
A friend was a big shot at Goldman Sachs when Heidi was there. At some point there was a big function in NYC and Heidi and Ted were at his table.

Now the table was filled with these managers that all happened to be Jewish, except for Heidi and Ted.

The first course of the meal arrives and Heidi pipes up with “everyone lets bow are heads and thank the lord Jesus....”

He said it was amazing to everyone how tone deaf and pushy she was about it. He wondered what her reaction would have been if a Muslim demanded something similar from her.

Go away Ted!

Canadian Ted aka Lucifer ought to just shut up and be glad that Trump has given him a way back in.

Is Ted Cruz planning to announce that he's leaving the republican party when he steps up to that microphone?

He'll be very happy to have all of that news coverage...endorsement? hahahahaha!

Ted is such an astute political figure. LOL

Who knew predicting wins across the Bible belt and not winning one state there would affect him negatively?

Who knew dismissing a state because there weren't enough Christians there, might create a negative image?

Who knew only winning Caucuses where the GOPe ruled with an iron fist might cause rumblings in Conservative circles?

Who knew chumming it up with a nutjob like Glenn Beck could hurt a candidate? Who knew folks realizing Ted didn't know this would hurt him, might magnify the negative image?

Who knew trying to wrestle away candidates bound to vote for Trump, might cause folks to think Ted was an underhanded Cretan?

Who knew creating the image Ted was going to toss the convention in to complete chaos could be seen negatively?

Who knew Ted making negative comments about the clear winner of the Republican nomination, might reflect negatively on him?

Who knew refusing to say nice things about Trump or endorse him might be see negatively?

Who knew that having been given permission to speak in Trump's winner's circle, and not respecting the process and the man that won it, or talking self up instead of others, might make Cruz look bad?

Cruz now sees himself as a statesman.

I see him as a pathetic out of touch with reality person who is probably the most tone deaf political person I've seen in my lifetime.

Ted's 15 minutes is going on 32 now. It's over Ted.

Save what little grace you can at this point, if not for you, for your wife and kids.
