Yup. Exactly. Trump gets over insults. For all the complaints that he’s ‘a whiner’, he goes on, never gives up and never mentions the insults again. Lil Ted, not so much.
From Cruz last night and this morning, I am of the opinion he did permanent political damage to himself. He only won just over 43% of the votes in the TX Presidential Primary. That won’t look good going into a senate reelection.
After some of the stunts he and his Team pull, starting in Iowa, I had no further interest in him. As more was revealed about his backgound and connections, he seemed like a typical Republican claiming conservative hoodwinker.
Or is Cruz wearing a Frito-Lay chip factory on his shoulder?

Cruz fired the first shot on the wife deal. He circulated a modeling pic of Melania, racy but not nude. Implied she’s a slut and would you want her for first lady. I personally think Trump should have decked Cruz over that trick but instead he retweeted a side-by-side of Heidi and Melania with a pic says it all caption.
But no one cared what Cruz said about Melania, they all jumped on the Heidi headline.
Rush just mentioned how Trump coming in at the end of Cruz’s opus took the attention off Cruz.
Reminds me of when during the primaries Trump walked into a bookstore where Glenn Beck was, and everybody left Beck for Trump.
Boy, was Beck PO’ed. LOL!
Poor Ted, if he could only look on what God DID promise, rather than what he egotistically expects that God WOULD promise, then he might progress to a good position.

Although Rush never endorsed anyone, it was obvious during the last few months that Cruz was/is his guy. I finally turned him off and have only started listening again.
The first principal in selling anything is to sell yourself first and for that reason I don't think Cruz could ever be president. I can't imagine anyone showing passion for him.

What’s interesting is that High society people as well Congressman and Senators brought their families out for a picnic to observe the battle because everyone thought the war, would be over by the end of Summer. Towards the end of the battle they got ran by Jeb Stuart’s confederate Calvary and retreating Union soldiers who were for their lives towards Washington after being routed.

Biggirl. I do believe that what took place last night what we had seen was the poltical sucide of one Sen.Ted Cruz on stage. He is done, finished.
The movement to take Mr. Trump done is OVER and been over since Monday. It is time to get on the Trump Train.
I appeal to the wonderful folks of TX to please have primary Sen. Cruz. They were the ones embaressed last night. After Cruz speech my desktop computer which was showing on C-Span the GOP convention had crashed. A lot of angry Trump supporters trying to contact C-Span. Had to go to iPad and listen via its radio service.

I always found it fascinating that people would come to watch a battle as if it were entertainment.

Rush knew what was on the cards yesterday and was intentionally vague about it.
