Our Constitution was ratified on Sept. 17, 1787, 11-plus years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. James Madison wanted to make sure that our unalienable rights were also in the Constitution in order to protect the citizens from the very government they created. It was not until Dec. 15, 1791, that the original Bill of Rights was adopted and made a part of the Constitution.
Anyone who has read the Constitution knows that the words health care cannot be found anywhere in that document. It is not in the Bill of Rights. Some people assert that health care is indeed one of those unalienable rights found in the Declaration of Independence. Fair enough! So, lets make that assumption.

Guns are “Preventative Medicine”
"We the people of the United States, ... promote the general welfare, ... do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. ..."
Nah. I think the meme is “Guns are for killing, health care is for saving”.
You do not have a right to anything if another person must labor to provide it.
The only sure cure for pedophilia and Mohammadism.
Big government wants complete control of both.
Yup, every once in awhile, someone needs a lead injection.
Ask any soldier who has to go through the VA for healthcare about,”saving”.
One of my friends refers to it as “lead implant therapy”.

I think those libs jump on the words:
“We the people of the United States, ... promote the general welfare, ... do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. ...”

Yes, as if the Preamble, or the general welfare clause, supersedes the whole of the Constitution (*LIMITED* govt).
They’ve used a few choice clauses to obliterate the meaning of the document, nullifying any/all other conflicting Amendments and clauses: Welfare, which conflicts w/ 4th/5th/13th.
Used to be any/all in conflict were null/void. Course, that was when we still had a Constitutional Republic.
Drivers and people out in public places in my area seem to have discovered a right to act like @$$holes, then blame me when I react to it. That right must be in the Constitution or Declaration somewhere. I’m just not smart enough to find it I guess.
It seems that ‘health care’ has become a euphemism for abortion. So yeah, it’s in the Constitution, right there next to ‘separation of church and state’.
Yup. And the comprehension skill scores continue to plummet. So, if your band leader calls for the song to be in b flat minor it must be okay to play it in E maj right? Guess it depends on what your charts say.
Promote does not mean provide.
They seem to miss that.
I like that,,,, short 'n' sweet. My sun visor states "Guns Save Lives".
I cannot take credit.
When a Medical Huey carried ammo to surrounded troops, out of supplies, in Nam to save them, the pilot was called on the carpet by the CO.
Why did you do this??
Practicing Preventative Medicine, Sir.
