Given that there is nothing else of importance to be presented in the news, I would expect, well, a flood of such stories, from people who think they Noah lot about ancient history.
Takes a lot of faith to believe in evolution.
Many “Christians” don’t see any problem with rampant abortion, convenience divorce, or unnatural sex and marriage. The last thing they want to hear about is God judging the world.
Fact one: the ark’s physical dimensions indicate a basic seaworthy construction.
This is the article my extreme liberal sister in law posted on this subject in Facebook: http://www.patheos.com/blogs/friendlyatheist/2016/07/14/the-problems-with-ark-encounter-liberal-redneck-edition/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook
Look at the comment section. It is eye popping how hate filled liberals are.
I understand that evolution has been coming under increasing attack in Europe over the past several years, but rather inconveniently at the hands of a protected group, so virtue-signaling a presumed greater level of intelligence among Evolutionists isn’t really working there anymore, to the point that Creationism is being taught in some classrooms.
He personally doesn't believe in the literal interpretation of the creation and Noah's Ark, so he considers his beliefs as "fact"; therefore, the creators of the theme park have a problem with "facts".
Just like man-made climate change is "fact", and if you believe otherwise, well, maybe you should be locked up for your own good.....
LET US PROCLAIM THE MYSTERY OF FAITH!
In the article, there is a statement about Noah being 600 years old, and it stated as proof it’s all a myth.
I don’t know if you are familiar with the book “The immortal life of Henrietta Lacks” but you should read it.
Why? It shows that some cells, taken from a woman in 1950s, are immortal - that is, they don’t die, and their offspring does not die. They came from a tumor the woman had, who died a few months later.
This proves that the cellular machinery that can allow humans to live hundreds of years (or maybe forever) is in our DNA, but appears to be switched “off”.
As for how could 1 man and his family gather all the animals, it’s clear God’s spirit BROUGHT them to the ark. (just read the bible).
It’s so funny when someone who has no biblical knowledge or scientific education states that the bible is incompatible with science.
I can’t imagine who in Kentucky can afford the admission....that being said, perhaps we should learn from the fact that the Ark had NO RUDDER..... ahem....
Evolution may be an errored religion all its own, with its own suspension of disbelief required, but creationism IS a fairy tale. Creationism makes it so much easier for the anti-religious to make a joke of Christianity. Teaching things like the Grand Canyon was created by lightening strikes & there were baby dinosaurs on the Ark are ridiculous. Science & judeochristian beliefs & ideals CAN coexist without making things up out of thin air. But incorporating willful ignorance of history & facts makes Creationism the yin to Evolution’a yang & I don’t support made up nonsense no matter what side of the aisle it falls on. If you are willing to give a pass to the creationists & they’re idiotic proselytizing via THEIR errant interpretation of the Ark then you can’t debase or discount the Mormon version of history either. Both are absolute fantasy.
Ok, but is the food good?
Doctors do NOT believe in evolution.
If they did; they’d leave our bodies alone to go whatever direction that Evolution will take them.
