very good article. the headline is deceiving.
Great quote:
It is a shame that the judiciary has become suffused with politics, but that was inevitable once the statists began using the courts to provide constitutional cover for their plans to transform the nation. Many Americans already understand that and it would be better if everyone did.
To: reaganaut1
Every one who supports what Ginsberg did needs to go down with her. This stuff has to stop or we are going to have radical leftists killing us eventually.

Fuax pas? If any case comes before Ginsberg that has the word “Trump” in it, she’ll should recuse herself!
To: Bushbacker1; reaganaut1
...shell should recuse herself!Should have read:
...shell have to, or should, recuse herself!
I'll have a talk with the typist...
To: reaganaut1
I wonder if there is any way that Trump could request Ginsburg to perform the swearing in ceremony.

Federal judges are supposed to keep out of the political mud, but Justice Ginsburg opined that Donald Trump would be a national disaster. I cant imagine what the country would be with Donald Trump as our president, she said, adding that the prospect of a Trump presidency made her think about moving to New Zealand. ...a statement which was greeted with the cheers of approval by tens of millions of American citizens tired of her crap.

She hasn’t apologized, at least not yet. The left NEVER apologizes.
She only said that her comments were “ill-advised”, whatever the hell that means.

Ginsburg, like nearly all progressives, is hostile to the idea principle, clearly articulated in that decision by the late Judge Robert Bork, of stare decisis, that once the Supreme Court has ruled on a point of Constitutional law, the precedent is final and binding on future Courts, unless there is a Constitutional Amendment.

My thinking is the same. About five of them are WAY past their best-by date.

I do not believe that they should be elected. The present system for appointment seems to work. I do believe they should have to face a confidence vote. Would say after they gave been on the court 2 years then every 10 years.

Post of THIS thread. Trump might consider it so he can look her in the face and say the OOO.
Yeah, I’m occasionally a dramatista.

Do justices recuse themselves from cases? Can they be forced to?
Of course, that's why Leftists were so ticked off with Ruth not being able to just shut up.
By imprudently commenting on the election, she showed her clearly anti-Trump bias, meaning if there's any electoral disputes this fall that make it to the SC - remember Bush 2000? - Ginsberg will be forced to recuse herself.
THAT'S why the Leftists are so upset.
To: joshhiggins
The pravda presstitutes of the USSA don’t give a damn when that lying bastard manchild Barack Hussein Obama decries the Legislative and Judicial branches, calling them liars, saying they got legal decisions “wrong” but if one of the members of those branches dares criticize the POSOTUS they’ve supposedly committed an act of treason.
And how can Ginbsurg and Obama claim that the SC got decisions “wrong” that they will have to be “revisited” while anytime a decision overreaches and goes their way (same sex marriage) we arv told it is now “settled law” and suck it up.

In a sane world, she would have resigned immediately!
Obviously, ours is not a sane world!

No, I don’t think it works. They’re too political and they can do too much damage in 10 years. It’s becoming rule by fiat. It’s being abused by politicians. I just don’t think it’s working as intended. We don’t have a moral political system anymore. Put them on a shorter leash.
