I do not believe that they should be elected. The present system for appointment seems to work. I do believe they should have to face a confidence vote. Would say after they gave been on the court 2 years then every 10 years.

No, I don’t think it works. They’re too political and they can do too much damage in 10 years. It’s becoming rule by fiat. It’s being abused by politicians. I just don’t think it’s working as intended. We don’t have a moral political system anymore. Put them on a shorter leash.

If appointments are for life, then there should be an amendment to the constitution that allows for some majority of states to overrule politicized decisions made by a politicized court.
