It is raining and thundering here in Comanche OK. The storm alarm did wake us up a few times last night.
Bo and I enjoyed our time at Waurika Lake. We spent an hour at Chisolm Trail Ridge and then went out for a ride around the lake.
My garden (which is mostly in containers on my deck) has lots of herbs(three kinds of parsley, 2 rosemary, 2 oregano, Thai Basil, Lemon Basil, Italian Basil, 3 kinds of thyme, white onions, chives, French tarragon, echanacia, dill, lemon balm, and mint). Also in larger containers I have string beans, red curly lettuce, green curly lettuce, romaine, zucchini( green and yellow), tomatoes, and tomatillos.
I harvest my deck every day for breakfast and lunch.
I was raised in the inner city, and know nothing about farming, so I have made a lot of mistakes, but nature seems to be on my side!
I LOVE that scene in Casablanca.
I’m working on it but things just keep breaking wrong LOL
I think I’m leading it at the moment
BTTT
Had a good night at the VFW, got a nice chicken fried steak dinner from the ladies.
Gonna go back for free Ham sandwiches and tater salad this afternoon.
Not sure if I’ll stick around for trey singing tonight

You know that song is about the Beirut barracks bombing
Something must be done about it
Knock Knock
I want waffles and bacon :)
Thai Basil, Queen of Siam makes me insane.
Yeah I grow that and its easy peezy lemon squeezy.
Herbs are wonderful but queen of siam is wonderful
even if you just let it go to seed it gives you beautiful flowers and scents the air
lemon basil is lovely and easy as well
Put yet rosemary in permanent location.
I had a huge 20 bush of that in desert Az
Indeed!
Quite a few are perennial, and I have started to transfer them to my tiny yard.
I want to make a little walk-through herb garden like in Colonial times.
There are some beautiful examples nearly in Plymouth.
Good morning. They are out on the street. Not exactly the sidewalk, but a bit of a recess, mini-plaza sort of area outside the Fox News studios.
Fox and Friends has concerts every Friday (although they haven’t scheduled all the Friday’s this summer yet, according to the website.) Last week was Scott Stapp of Creed
I knew that they would be there, and due to whatever crazy thing going on, they didn’t let people in right away. I skipped the free food line, and most of those inside already sat at the picnic tables. I walked right up to the fence in front of the stage, so for once, no one was in front of me when I wanted to film it. Unfortunately, when more people pressed in, I got shoved s bit to the side — I’m practically (if not in reality) standing in front of the speaker while I was taping this.
Good thing I had three different recording devices. I had snafus early on, so I only got two songs. (I’ll upload the other later)
Nice
Yum! Your lunch trumps my dry old granola bar at work. LOL! Have a good one. (((hugs)))
