If the Turkish military is doing a coup it is probably anti Islamist, anti Caliphate. Turkey’s military has stood for secular govt since Attaturk..... although Erdogan has imposed his own preferred Generals in recent years, so it could all be pretty screwed up now.

According to Wikipedia, there are 90 B61 nuclear bombs from the US arsenal stationed in Turkey. 40 of these are at disposal of the Turkish army, which may use them in case of a nuclear conflict, but only if NATO gives a go-ahead: Turkish Armed Forces
Is there any chance of loss of control of the nukes???

He let the old top brass out of jail about a year ago in a deal to fight the Kurds.
I hope that they can restore the Republic.
