Col. [Ret.] Igor Korotchenko, the editor-in-chief of "National Security Magazine," said that Russia needs to declare the entire post-Soviet area as "the zone of its special and exclusive interests" and to "bare our teeth at the Americans and at NATO, because this Anglo-Saxon breed understands nothing but force." He was speaking on the Russia 1 Sunday evening flagship talk show on July 10, following the Warsaw NATO summit.
Following are excerpts
Igor Korotchenko: We Russians have to officially declare that the entire post-Soviet area is the zone of the special and exclusive interests of the Russian Federation. Neither NATO or the US should be there.

We cannot be constantly retreating. We are constantly surrounded [by NATO], and this policy is set for the coming decades. That's why - willingly or unwillingly - we have to bare our teeth at the Americans and at NATO, because this Anglo-Saxon breed understands nothing but force.

Translation: “We want our evil empire back!”
Si vis pacem, para bellum..................................
good point!! Or the imperial Japanese army.
I never understood. What exactly does Anglo entail? Does t just refer to England and it’s descendants or is it a general term for all of Europe?
Stupid question, I know.
Would you expect a senior military leader to NOT take this stand on his country’s interests? He’d never get the job.
Only Obama & Co. are willing to openly sell-out their country’s best strategic interests.
Pretty much!

I think they are using the broadest definition.
Correct

He needs to study up on Russian History From before the 1st ZAR took power.
I think so too :)
Such rhetoric surves no purpose.
And I Wish it was true. If it was, Europe would be awash in muslim blood.
Heh, heh. Try it. The rats in the British Government have been cleaned out. The US will be cleaning our rats in November.
He’s absolutely correct. We have become an insidious force for the spreading of evil and internationalist banking interests worldwide these days.
But he doesn’t get it, we are the only people who are allowed to influence those areas./s
Hard to fault what he said. Sad that it came to this. They acted fully as an ally under Bush. Gave us former Soviet Airbases for free, gave us free use of rail supply routes across Russia, gave us a memorial sculpture after 911. Then came the magic gay islamic negro.
Huh?!? He said that about this current administration?
I haven't seen them force chit except onto Christians and "normal" Americans. They seem to do all they can to accommodate our enemies.
Heck, if he wants a bloodless coup he oughtta just throw support to the hildabeast. d;^)
Igor lives in a dark bubble if he believes that any serious nation fears the Russian Military.
From the earliest days of the Romanov’s, Russia has produced one catastrophic defeat after another starting w/Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden in the 17th century.
Then came the Duke of Marlboro/John Churchill, followed by Napoleon, remember him? Next it was the Crimean War. Then in 1905 the Japanese Navy sunk the entire Eastern Russian Fleet of some 12 dreadnoughts in the Straits of Tsushima, Manchuria.
In 1914, Russia invaded East Prussia where Von Hindenburg trapped two Russian armies at Tannenberg; inflicting more than 400,000 casualties in 3 days, which effectively neutralized them for the remainder of WW1.
In 1940, the Finns drove them out of their country during in the Winter War.
And bringing up the rear is Afghanistan, where they hightailed it the dead of night in 1989.
Did they have some marginal success in WW2. Sure and so what? We won that war because we took charge of it.
Russian military prowess??? Laughable!!!
“Pretty much!”
As a matter of fact, when I have to fill out a form or document where race is required, I write in Anglo!!!
The same guy also blamed the USA for Russian soccer team sucking in Euro 2016.
