The latest Rasmussen Reports weekly White House Watch survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with 44% support to Clinton’s 37%. Thirteen percent (13%) favor some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

Quinnipac was accurate in preducting Obama’s winning percentage right down to a 4% lead.
YouGov was also right on the money.
Every other October poll, including Rasmussen - had it for Mittens.
It was like people wanted to make fun of the overconfident Romney.
That’s why I was shocked when she wasn’t indicted. I was sure as hell she would be just so Democrats could get rid of her, now they are pretty much stuck with her and “kicking her to the curb” is going to be very tough. Good, it’s going to be epic watching Trump obliterate the Clintons

We KNOW that this is always a gamble, if you consider Reagan nominating Anthony Kennedy and Sandra Day O’Connor, and Bush nominating Roberts, and how badly those turned out, but...
When you consider Souter, Ginsburg, Sotomayor and Keegan, and how straight down the Left line partisan they and all their decisions are, you can pretty much see what a Clinton nominee would be like. THEM.
So that is my biggest fear for the future.

I think more folks are focused this time around due to “the Donald”. Unless he steps in it, this is over. Both have high negatives and a tepid base. The indies are breaking for Trump now.....so ad money spent in the fall won’t matter. We have conventions, then the Olympics and then fall will be here. The folks who care will have made up their minds. The last minute folks won’t matter.
The media don’t like Trump but they know he drives ratings......so it is free advertising.
Watched what I thought was ABC the other evening. David Muir I think. Nice, useful idiot....reads the prompter well. They led with an unnamed national poll which said Clinton was ahead. Then referenced the QPac College poll in Ohio which said tied. That was it......nothing about Trump being ahead in FLA and PA. The narrative was Clinton still ahead.....

I agree with you. I put much less faith in Rasmussen than in CBS/NYT and Fox News polls. Those were more accurate.

You speak the truth.
I hope Trump will leave no stone un-turned while vetting his nominee for the Supreme Court. I want their background to be spotless, so no one down the road can blackmail them. I believe O has dirt on at least one, and he uses it to get the vote/s when needed.
Considering we live in a country where admitting you’re a Trump supporter will label you a Fascist/Racist, my hunch is a good number of those 19% undecideds are closet Trump supporters.
That little fink with the 28 votes on the rules committee may just mess everything up for Trump!
