Jennifer Rubin is the author of Right Turn, a conservative space in the Washington Post. Some on the right question whether Rubin is a conservative, but I dont I believe I ever have.
I was surprised, therefore, by Rubins latest offering. Its a called (in the print edition) The need for grown-ups.
The grown-ups to whom Rubin refers are Theresa May, who will be Britains next prime minister, and Hillary Clinton. Her thesis is that the two women have the steady hands needed to pick up the wreckage wrought by Brexit and Donald Trump, respectively.

Whenever the left starts of by saying “This has bi-partisan support...” or “Conservatives and liberals both agree...” I simply yawn. It means absolutely nothing any longer.

The author should indeed question whether Rubin is a conservative, because on perhaps the biggest, most important, most consequential issue of all - immigration - Rubin is an extreme leftist.
And since mass immigration is altering the demography of the nation and pushing us ever more towards the left, any ‘conservative’ who holds liberal views on immigration (like Rubin) undermines their conservative credibility on any other issue where they might actually hold conservative views.
