One of the wealthier areas of Indiana.
TrumPence 2016
Good morning nikos.
Thank you for the thread!
God Bless & protect Donald Trump.
Have a wonderful day everyone, see you at rally time.
Thank you nikos1121 !!!
Praying for Trump.
Have a great day all!
Good Morning!
Not sure about Pence. Maybe that’s his pick, maybe not. Won’t change a thing with me, as Trump has my vote secured, but Pence doesn’t seem to have that edge that I think Trump would want in a VP. But, I could be wrong...
One thing that can be said for sure, is with Trump, we should expect the unexpected!
Announcing VP pick??? Pence is Gov. of Indiana. Interesting !
Good morning, Saint!
Thanks for the thread.
Let’s all remember to say a prayer for Mr. Trump and his family.
We are wrestling with some pretty dark powers for the soul and future of America—and for our kids and grandkids.
As for Pence, he would not be my pick as he caved to the gay lobby in a NY minute last year.
But anyone Trump picks will be OK with me.
Go Trump 20116!
And Hillary for Prison 2016!!!
From last nights thread. Old story
As far as the Gay rights case/ law. A lawyer friends who is in the know said the way it was written Pence had no choice. Poorly written bill. (His idea was it was done on purpose )
One thing for sure No live boys or dead girls in his background.
Remember him from radio show. Common sense and a quick wit. He and DT would get along well. He thinks quick on feet
Not my first choice ( not sure who that is — but he’s growing on me with research)
Sorry I've been away. We were at the camp with sporadic internet.
After that, the diagnosis is in. My pain is not caused by sciatica, but by bone on bone in my right hip.
I had a cortisone shot yesterday morning and last night I slept the best in months. After viewing the results, the doctor and xray nurse said they were in pain just looking at the xrays.
I'll be calling my highly recommended ortho dr. to schedule an appointment for a replacement. He did my left hip 8 years ago.
BTTT
Howdy!
Getting the word out because Trump rally threads are yuuuuuge.
Be safe everyone.
Thank you, Nikos.
Can’t wait to hear Trump’s take on the Lynch hearing....
What a crap fest it was, couldn’t watch more than about 30 min.

[ Since some here are having a cow about the possibility of Pence being picked as Trump’s running mate, here are some historical facts that might lend perspective to the man and his decisions made as an elected official, whether as a US Representative, or a Governor. ] (my words)
LGBT rights
In 2000, Pence stated Congress should oppose any effort to recognize homosexual’s [sic][42] as a discreet [sic] and insular minority entitled to the protection of anti-discrimination laws similar to those extended to women and ethnic minorities. He called for an audit to ensure that federal dollars were no longer being given to organisations that celebrate and encourage the types of behaviors that facilitate the spreading of the HIV virus and instead advocated that resources be directed towards conversion therapy programs.[43][44][45]
Pence has said that homosexuals should not serve in the military, saying “Homosexuality is incompatible with military service because the presence of homosexuals in the ranks weakens unit cohesion” and in 2010 stated that repealing Don’t ask, don’t tell would “have an impact on unit cohesion.”[46] Pence opposed the 2009 Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Act, saying that Obama wanted to “advance a radical social agenda”[47] and said that pastors “could be charged or be subject to intimidation for simply expressing a Biblical worldview on the issue of homosexual behavior.”[48]
Pence opposes both same-sex marriage and civil unions.[49] He has referred to Harvard sociologist Pitirim Sorokin’s findings that throughout history, societal collapse was brought about by the deterioration of marriage and family.[50] He has advocated a constitutional same-sex marriage ban, but did not champion such a proposed ban for his first year as governor.[51]
Religious Freedom Restoration Act
Main article: Indiana SB 101
On March 26, 2015, Pence signed Indiana Senate Bill 101, also known as the Indiana “religious objections” bill (RFRA), into law.[71] The law’s signing was met with widespread criticism by people and groups who felt the law was carefully worded in a way that would permit discrimination against LGBT persons.[72][73][74][75] Such organizations as the NCAA, the gamer convention Gen Con, and the Disciples of Christ spoke out against the law. Apple CEO Tim Cook and Salesforce.com CEO Marc Benioff condemned the law, with Salesforce.com saying it would halt its plans to expand in the state.[76][77] Angie’s List announced that they would cancel a $40 million expansion of their Indianapolis based headquarters due to concerns over the law. The expansion would have moved 1000 jobs into the state. The mayors of San Francisco and Seattle banned official travel to Indiana.[78] Thousands protested against the policy.[72] Five GOP state representatives voted against the bill, and Greg Ballard, the Republican mayor of Indianapolis, criticized it as sending the “wrong signal” about the state.[79]
Pence repeatedly defended the law, stating that it was not about discrimination. In an appearance on the ABC News program This Week with George Stephanopoulos,[80] Pence stated, “We are not going to change this law,” while refusing to answer whether examples of discrimination against LGBT people given by Eric Miller of anti-LGBT group Advance America would be legal under the law.[81] Pence denied the law permitted discrimination and wrote in a March 31, 2015 Wall Street Journal op-ed, “If I saw a restaurant owner refuse to serve a gay couple, I wouldnt eat there anymore. As governor of Indiana, if I were presented a bill that legalized discrimination against any person or group, I would veto it.”[82]
In the wake of the backlash against the RFRA, on April 2, 2015, Pence signed legislation revising the law to prevent potential discrimination.[83] Discrimination against LGBT individuals in employment, housing, and public accommodation remains legal, an issue that will be debated in the 2016 legislative session, and Pence has yet to endorse a proposed bill.[84]
