Sorry I've been away. We were at the camp with sporadic internet.
After that, the diagnosis is in. My pain is not caused by sciatica, but by bone on bone in my right hip.
I had a cortisone shot yesterday morning and last night I slept the best in months. After viewing the results, the doctor and xray nurse said they were in pain just looking at the xrays.
I'll be calling my highly recommended ortho dr. to schedule an appointment for a replacement. He did my left hip 8 years ago.

Glad you got a good nights sleep....and a diagnosis. It’s amazing how much sleep is appreciated when you live in pain. I have been away from the internet for my back issues. Have numerous compression fractures from the osteoporosis. Slipped disc in lower back. Arthritis in hips and knees. Bursitis in left hip. Waiting for DR to call back and schedule cortisone shots. Hoping that helps. Back surgery scares the heck out me.
