Could not agree more with Chief Brown.

They are asked to do too much, but now POLICE are burdened with regulations that further imperil their already endangered lives, as even now routine traffic stops are no longer “routine”.

National Guard needs to saddle up.

“Become a part of the solution, serve your community. Don’t be a part of the problem…we’re hiring. Get off that protest line and put an application in. We’ll put you in your neighborhood – we will help you resolve some of the problems you are protesting about.”

Clockwork Black becomes the new Clockwork Orange.

Time for the Fergeson Effect to be felt in every city where the #blackliesmatter protesters are.

Like Barbara Billingsly famously said in “Airplane!”:
N*gga don’ wan’ no he’p, N*gga don’ get no he’p!

(BTW that was the original — it has been overdubbed to “Sucka” on every copy I have watched in the last 20 years)

That’s true. At this point the National Guard should be called out.

No family values, no morality, weak reprimands, no accountability. If I were a police chief, I’d mention these points and announce my guys would be taking the week off for R&R. Let the pajama boys and snowflakes get mugged.

I am a naysayer on this. Cops need to be respectful of all citizenry. The problem today are cops wanting to be overbearing, overwhelming, militarized, etc. They are no long engaging and working with citizens. We’ve seen this change over long period of time. Further, they show the worst of our interaction in communities, the bad apples tar the rest. If cops would out their bad colleagues, they might get more respect than just circling the wagon, regardless of the fault. We see them fight video taping, prefer obscurity to do what they often want, then deny it. That is the problem. If cops would be honest, would be respectful, they’d fair better. Are they doing too much? Maybe they might get off the speed traps and out of Dunkin Donuts and walk around and meet the people. Flame me...

Ha...fat chance that those worthless men will apply to be cops. They’d rather impregnate women to get a cut of several welfare checks and run some drugs on the side. Many are drama queens wanting to “make history,” and being high school drop outs, that is unlikely, unless you become part of a mob performing for the media pimps.

MSNBC today had a BLM supporter say “Community safety is not predicated by police presence.”

Okey doke, then. They’re safe without cops.

This should save police departments a lot of money. They can use it to strengthen pensions.

Let’s make a change, its time to get a national police service. We’ll call them storm troops and give them the best military and surveillance equipment available.

These aren’t some poorly equipped and poorly trained local PD. They would have to be the best trained storm fighters able to get the job done according to a politically correct curriculum.

Yes. Black crime is out of control. Blacks are a protected class, meaning that you lose your job for saying that they commit a lot of crime, and that they are free to shoot you up.

“Dallas Police Chief ‘We’re Asking Cops To Do Too Much In This Country”

Any cops who think this need to quit if the job is too much for them.

I don't necessarily disagree. But I would like to hear which laws the Chief would like his officers to either de-emphasize or just ignore.

And I would ask my fellow FReepers the same question.

Part of the problem is that there’s so much that’s criminalized now, part of it is that there’s a huge chunk of the mentality that the government needing to control things/everything in our society, too.

Hmm, that could easily be turned around that if cops can’t handle it then it’s time to bring in Obama’s civilian army. Not a good thing.

Checkin out this guy, he has been through a lot.

His brother was killed by drug dealers, his partner killed, and his own son, who described as having mental illness, killed a cop and another person before being gun down.

Lordy. I can’t even imagine seeing this much violence in my life and be willing and able to take the high road.

I have absolute respect for this man.
