Deadly officer-involved shootings of two black men, one in Louisiana and another in Minnesota, have the attention of the country and that of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Sunday night, a group here in Memphis marched across the city and onto the I-40 bridge.
It started as a peaceful rally at FedExForum with hundreds of people.
After rallying at FedExForum, the crowd marched to police headquarters at 201 Poplar and then continued on, with more people joining them as they went on.
The marchers attempted to go to the I-40 bridge, but police blocked the entrance to the bridge. They eventually found a way onto the bridge via the exit ramp, and police had trouble stopping them.
Traffic was forced to a standstill, and the bridge was closed as police ordered the protesters to exit.
There was still a crowd of marchers who did not make it onto the bridge, as well as a big group still back at FedExForum.
There was a big police presence surrounding the rally and march, including a police helicopter and officers in tactical gear. Interim Police Director Michael Rallings was also at the rally, and things heated up when protestors interrupted him.
Looks like Soros is getting his money’ worth.
TLML Thug Lives Matter Less
It is time to bring out the shotgun squad for the BLM protests. No less than lethal loads, just go ahead and load buckshot and slugs.
Now this is probably easy for me to say, but might be quite difficult to do.
These folks need an evangelist even worse than they need police. However any evangelist is going to have to be very gutsy if he visits a protest site. Might become another martyr.

Well this kind of feeds the tragedy. I think they are suicide bound at this time and would like another Ohio State, so to speak (referring to a different confrontation). It isn’t just the church that can burgeon on martyrs.
All the white folk have left Memphis already, so....
Sad to know these morons are smarter than the cops. They should all be behind bars for obstructing traffic. What if an ambulance or fire truck needed through but help going to a black person was unable to get to them?
Philadelphia too.

Now that’s how you clear maggots off of a bridge.
and Obama is trying to stay out of the country as long as he can
F.R. is the go to place for this kind of news.
If at all possible I never go on the I40 bridge to Memphis so they can block it all they want. I go around Memphis. The last time I drove through there I was scared out of my wits. That is one dangerous town.
These governors should start thinking about using the National Guard.
None of this is really about cops killing Blacks. It’s just an excuse to disrupt the civil order, leading to a breakdown in civil society, and paving the way for an overthrow of our form of government.
These protesters will be in bed soon so they will be ready for the work week ahead. I’m sure they are hardworking, industrious people. /sarcasm
I’d be willing to bet a large majority of the cops are black.
Did ALL their shotguns jam?
What are we paying taxes for? PUBLIC safety, arrest every last one of them or shoot enough to make the rest leave.
They aren’t caring about all black people, obviously. They are caring about their own “fame” and “power.”
With modern news being what it is, an ignominious end probably isn’t today what it was in yesteryear. It would look less like a rout and more like a fizzle.
I’m half looking forward to a group of angry black motorists to get out of their cars and trucks and preach to those fools. This could, at the least, peel off the hangers-on even if not the doctrinaires.
