Donald Trump has promised to liven up this year's Republican National Convention. But some of America's biggest corporations are bailing on the party.
Apple recently became the latest company to give the GOP's presumptive nominee the cold shoulder; it won't contribute money or products to the Republicans' big shindig in Cleveland this month. HP Inc. is also withholding support, while Microsoft is giving products only, not cash. Beyond the tech industry, Ford, JPMorgan Chase and United Parcel Service have opted to withhold support.

But the speech in its own right, addressed an unfortunate mindset, which has become sadly common place, in recent decades, among Corporate top brass.
They will pay later when nobody is watching.
Because when the federal government targets something for punishment, it always ends up punishing something else. That’s just the way it is.
Terrorism at it’s best! Forcing people to react to possible violence whether it is threatened or not. And you don’t see this happening to Hilary, do you?

Though I’ve been singing the praises of Ford for not borrowing from taxpayers to save itself, it’s cowardice and political manipulation and meddling like this from corporations that pisses me off. The F150 I was about to buy will now be a Tundra. Hopefully a few hundred thousand more will get cancelled.

Internationalism, illustrated by the Bolshevik and by the men to whom all countries are alike, provided they can make money out of them, is to me repulsive. National I must remain and in that way I, like all other Americans, can render the amplest service to the world.
