Just what you’d expect. They asked him if Donald Trump called you, and asked for your take what would you say to him. “I’d say all lives matter. The country is divided. It has been for 7 years. There is desperation and fear, and the president hasn’t addressed it. His talking points are what you’d expect from a liberal college professor, ie gun control etc. etc.”
Newt wants the debate. He want’s the discussion.

This is my state and I went to bed in tears and woke up with so much heart ache and sadness for the families for those police officers! I blame Obama and the liberals! I do not want to hear from Trump about the golf course or his polling numbers or how he won the primaries, I want him to come out guns a blazing!!!!!. If he blows this it will be such a disappointment. I hope he blames this squarely on Obama and the beast! Nothing else will satisfy! Folks this is war! If it can happen here in Dallas it’s bound to happen all across the nation ....be ready be loaded have plenty of ammo and refuse to turn your guns over when the evil rats make the wimpy rinos caver on gun confiscation! THIS IS WAR!!! I heard there are plenty of black folk celebrating the murder of these officers this morning! We have become a sick sick nation! America no longer exists from here on it’s downhill... folks lock and load! I also have heard Sharpton and Jackson are blaming Trump ...WHAT FREAKIN loony world are we living in !!! This has been festering for eight years now ever since Obama took office! If there’s anybody to be solely to blame here its Obama for flaming the fires of racism!

Trump cancels today’s events
While working on helping post donation pictures on threads different people talked about the incident in Dallas. One being the black lawyer Greta use to have on her show night after nite to discussion situations with Mark Fuhrman. He was very good explaining that Dallas was a WAR ZONE! He and several black media and police talked around the fact that our President has caused this atmosphere and with his lack of leadership we have now this unrest.
Several police said this unrest stems from unemployment in the Black community. They also said NO LEADERSHIP has a lot to do with this sutiation.
Then again the smart lawyer who use to be on Greta'a show (maybe still) really summed up saying AN ASSASSIN HIT SQUAD is responsible for last nights assassinations of Police Officers He said it was a well planned assassin plot of ISIS type people. He said as long as Leadership continues to not lead this country this will get most probably worst!

I am the widow of a fine, fine, fine policeman, and have always had such respect! I don’t live in Texas but I too went to bed in tears and woke up with so much heart ache and sadness for the families for those police officers! Stay strong, this is such a sad time for so many!

Our nation has become too divided. Too many Americans feel like they've lost hope. Crime is harming too many citizens. Racial tensions have gotten worse, not better. This isn't the American Dream we all want for our children.
This is a time, perhaps more than ever, for strong leadership, love and compassion. We will pull through these tragedies.
I agree that Trump needs to respond as a leader and be out in front of the situation and NOT try to lead from behind. He has said many times his support for the police and this was an ASSASSIN SQUAD last night. People were walking quietly and the police supported them. The police were out doing their job while an ASSASSINATION GANG targetted the police by shooting many in the back.
Huh? Does everyone stay home and hide in the corner every time there is a shooting?

I thought Sheriff David Clarke also did a great job. I knew from some of his previous remarks that he was not a fan of Obama. He went after him and Hillary this morning and said that Trump was the only one that has supported LEOs and he hopes that he will be our next president (paraphrasing). I tried to find a video but haven’t found one so far. I remember him being interviewed at CPAC (even though he has a “D” after his name). I hope Mr. T finds a place for him in the FBI or somewhere in his admin.
The other person that was excellent was Kevin Jackson. I may be mixing him up with another person but I seem to recall that he used to be a FReeper.
