During testimony before Congress on Thursday, FBI Director James Comey stated that the FBI’s interview with presumptive Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was not under oath or recorded, but it still would be a crime to lie to the FBI.
Comey stated that he did not personally interview Clinton, and did not talk to all of the “five or six” who did interview Clinton.
He was then asked, “did she testify or talk to them under oath?” Comey answered, “No.” But added that “it’s still a crime to lie to us.”
When asked if there was a transcript of the interview, Comey stated that there wasn’t one because the interview wasn’t recorded, but there was an analysis of Clinton’s interview.

I can understand the lack of need to be sworn testimony..... but the lack of a recording; clearly an Error and Omission.
It’s not required under rules, law, whatever, that interviews of anyone be recorded? I think I would demand any dealings I have with the alphabet agencies be recorded.
Nothing will happen, and Comey will do nothing substantial, nor will he resign. It will just fade away, like the IRS and every other outrage.
This is because they are all government employees. There isn’t a patriot among them. This we know, because nothing righteous or principled has happened in 40 years.
They are all corrupt, and care only for their GD pension. Including the Military leadership.

I think per the new DoJ policy interviews are only recorded if the suspect is in federal custody.

So how does the prosecutors ever compare her testimony to all of the known facts? By memory?
I read an article sometime back and I was once questioned by two ex-FBI agents and it bares this out.
To start ( especially after learning the hard way,)never go into a questioning session without a witness present and or recording all of it yourself. I read and it appears to be truthful,the FBI will have a questioner and a note taker of their own present and the will write the statement the way they want it.Even if it appears they are recording in the long run they will deny it if you try to prove a point of truth that does not jive with what they want.Again I sadly say it appears there is no ethics or truth involved when it comes to coming after an ordinary person.
