To me, hoping that Comey had some incredible master plan is similar to our silly hopes that Roberts had a master plan when he upheld Obamacare. No such luck.

Cause keeping this in front of the American public IS important, damn it! If the Republicans kept quiet about it then we should be mad.
All that being said, let us now state that probably nothing much will come of it in terms of changing outcomes. And of course the Democrats will yell and scream that the Republicans are playing politics.

The only good I see coming from this, as well as Ryan’s letter, is that the left will be seen, again, as skating from the law.
Watching Obama and the dems NOT take away Clinton’s security clearance, and watching Comey beat around the bush and skate will serve to raise the stink of this whole thing to a new degree.

If I were one, I'd call him an abject COWARD and ask him to explain his drastically stretched explanations of evidence, guilt and referral - then becoming all three (investigator, aggregator, Prosecutor and Judge) in coming up with the bullshit he spoke on that stage. Lynch's proclamation gave him carte blanche and he used it to buy a plate of horseshit.
