There is no hope of any indictment. Comey would never put the DOJ on that spot, NEVER. He is going to say the FBI has conducted a thorough investigation and found no evidence to support that Clinton KNOWINGLY violated any federal statutes as it relates to the E mail investigation. Forget the fact the knowledge or intent did not have to be shown for an indictment, and conviction. It ends here.
Off camera questions, wow. IOW just in case there is any rogue reporter present to ask a pertainent question, there will be no record of it and no knowledge of what ever happened to that reporter who was last seen leaving his home to be present.

On that count, they are almost certainly going to be found correct. The FBI can have probable cause ten times over, enough evidence to make a slam dunk case, and it still does not issue any recommendation to the prosecutor.

Scoffing is belittling and expressing skepticism and on either coast and in the middle. I can accept that it is a rendition of a Boston pronunciation of Scarfing but that should not change the spelling. If perverted pronunciation changes the spelling then anything written by Bostonians and other New Englanders would be unreadable in the rest of the country. I am a long time resident of an East Coast state and have never heard the R omitted in that word.

It would definitely not be to announce she is being indicted. The prosecutorial arm, DOJ, determines that not the investigatory arm, FBI. That leaves only one other alternative.She is not being indicted.Usually the DOJ makes such an announcement but Lynch does not want to announce that after the whole Clinton meeting on the plane fiasco. So she may have Comey coming out to say he is not going to make a criminal referral and doing her dirty work for her.

That's correct. The FBI investigates. If it finds probable cause a crime was committed, it sends the evidence to a prosecutor, and the prosecutor decides how to proceed. Sometimes the prosecutor asks for clarification or additional evidence, but the decision to proceed with a criminal case is totally outside the FBI.
If the FBI does not find probable cause a crime was committed, it doesn't bother the prosecutor with a referral of the file.

Comey is compromised because his boss is compromised. It’s so obvious. Let a grand jury decide. That’s the only honest course of action.
