In the birther movement, Mr. Trump recognized an opportunity to connect with the electorate over an issue many considered taboo: the discomfort, in some quarters of American society, with the election of the nations first black president. He harnessed it for political gain, beginning his connection with the largely white Republican base that, in his 2016 campaign, helped clinch his partys nomination.
The more Mr. Trump questioned the legitimacy of Mr. Obamas presidency, the better he performed in the early polls of the 2012 Republican field, springing from fifth place to a virtual tie for first.
That frenzied period culminated six weeks after it began in a surreal televised split screen between Mr. Trump and the White House briefing room, where aides released an image of the presidents birth certificate proving he was born in Honolulu and Mr. Obama directly addressed the issue.
It was a remarkable moment that Mr. Trump celebrated as a political victory.
Then Mr. Trump did something decidedly un-Trump-like: He dropped the issue and rarely spoke of it publicly again.
According to people apprised of the conversations, people close to him had been worried about the negative attention. Officials at NBC had also been concerned that he was alienating the large black audience of his hit show, The Apprentice.
But for all of his fascination with the presidents birth certificate, Mr. Trump apparently never dispatched investigators or made much of an effort to find the documents.
Dr. Alvin Onaka, the Hawaii state registrar who handled queries about Mr. Obama, said recently through a spokeswoman that he had no evidence or recollection of Mr. Trump or any of his representatives ever requesting the records from the Hawaii State Department of Health.

Harry Canter, was secretary of the Boston Communist Party USA in the early 1930s.
David and Harry Canter
Soviet Sojourn
After his release Harry Canter moved his family, including son David Canter to the Soviet Union.[3];
There Harry Canter was employed by the Soviet government translating Lenins works from Russian to English.
Around 1930, the family was invited to go over to the Soviet Union, so that Harry Canter could teach printing techniques to the Russians. They were translating ideological papers into English at that time. Evan Canter has several volumes of translated works that he printed, including a series of Lenins translated papers that actually have Harry Canters name in them.[4]
Harry Canters devotion to the Communist cause, even earned him an audience with Stalin in 1932.
Chicago
By 1946 the family had turned up in Chicago, where Harry Canter worked for many years as Secretary of Chicago Local 16 of the International Typographical Union.
Harry Canter eventually worked as a proofreader for newspapers, the Chicago Daily News, and, possibly, the Sun, until he retired. He was also a union organizer [Chicago Typographical Union #16].[5]
Circa 1948, Harry Canter was part of a group which purchased a communist newspaper, the Chicago Star from its owner Frank Marshall Davis, who was about to leave the mainland for Hawaii.
Harry Canter later moved to San Fransisco, where he remained active in leftist causes. David Canter however remained in Illinois...
Well, Axelrod is likewise a product of this Chicago world, including (to some degree) the communist influences. Axelrod was mentored by David Canter. David and his father, Harry, were part of Chicagos communist orbit. Harry had been secretary of Bostons Communist Party, and both father and son spent the 1930s in Moscow, where Harry he worked for the Soviet government as a translator of Lenins writings. Harry was among the small group that purchased the Chicago Star from Frank Marshall Davis in September 1948. Harry was familiar to Star readers. Among other instances, he appeared in the April 28, 1947 edition, wishing May Day Greetings to fellow comrades. Davis would have joined Harry at that May Day parade in Chicago. Davis editorialized in support of the 1947 May Day.
Both Harry and David Canter, like Davis, worked in the communist publishing world. In fact, David Canter worked with Frank Marshall Davis and also with Vernon Jarrett, Valerie Jarretts father-in-law as a writer for the communist-controlled Packinghouse Workers Union.

Last night, on Fox, they played the video of O’Muslim saying that there were 58 states. He said he’d been to 57,,,so one more to go,,,and then he’d been to them all. There are 57 islamic states (or so I was told that this may be why he fumbled and said there were 57 US states), and islam is what he loves.
O’Muslim has just about finished his 8 years of destruction as a usurper, a muzzie take-over of our gov’t.
Obviously, these last months, until mid-January, will be very bad for America as he slashes and burns his way to being out of office.
In the yes it can get worse department, today, an 18 year old visitor to Central Park (visiting from Virginia) stepped on a land mine and got his foot blown off.
O’Blah Blah has totally ruined the country and the world.
More on subject...I sent many letters, real snail mail letters, to the Supremes in 2007 and 2008, warning them O was not eligible....most likely they were all never read, as I am a peon.
They all knew he was ineligible, the whole elite political class knew.
Rotten bastards. The same who want Hildabeast to win, rather than the game changer Trump.
End of Rant, thank you.
I remember well that picture of Cheney.
Ditto to all you wrote!
Go Trump!
Thanks for the info!
