Getting through the line at the TSA can be a long and uncomfortable process. For one Chattanooga teen and her mother, the process turned into a scary nightmare.
19-year-old Hannah Cohen was returning home from St. Jude's Hospital with her mother for treatment of her brain tumor (a trip they had made for 17 years), when Hannah somehow set off the metal detector at the security checkpoint.
TSA wanted to do a further scan on Hannah, but she was reluctant. Hannah's mother, Shirley Cohen, tried to inform the agents that her daughter was disabled. She is partially deaf and blind in one eye, paralyzed, and becomes easily confused. They wanted to do further scanning, she was reluctant, she didn't understand what they were about to do," she said.
Despite her concerns, Shirley was kept away from her daughter by police. Hannah, obviously afraid, tried to get away from the grips of the TSA. She's trying to get away from them but in the next instant, one of them had her down on the ground and hit her head on the floor. There was blood everywhere, said Shirley.
The teen was arrested, booked, and sent to jail. Here we were with nowhere to go, not even a toothbrush, our bags had gone to Chattanooga, said the distraught mother.

Get a good lawyer!
Needle-head idiots from TSA.
She wasn’t able.
Did you read the article?
A girl battling cancer all her life is considered a terrorist by the TSA but a Muslim screaming ALLAH AKBAR is just workplace violence, can’t profile them after all they have rights
They’re only suing for $100,000.
Sounds very reasonable to me. I’d sue for that, plus legal costs.
Came home from Kauai yesterday. Had to go throught the farging scanner thing for the first time. Gave the GD thing the toothiest smile I could. TSA turd tells me to stop smiling. I then grinned so huge it hurt just to piss him off.
Her Booking Photo,???
Unfreeking believable.
Stay armed. Stay safe.
Local patriots should instigate a little “workplace violence” on the TSA.
Where the hell is the national news media? Where is Drudge on this. This is an outrage - sons of bitches should be thrown into a cage.
I didn’t think the TSA were allowed to touch you.
Yes. It’s up to Trump because the media will bury it.
I have a 47 YO adopted son who had a traumatic brain injury in his pre-teen years. I’ve flown with him, and it scares the heck out of me... He’s the most loving person I know, but it’s not hard to set him off. And he’s as strong as a bear.
In this case, the mother should have had the girl in a wheel chair even if she could walk OK. And this probably wouldn’t have happened.
I’m sure the TSA will say they acted according to policies and procedures especially against the disabled. Note also this story: TSA Detains 3-Year-Old In Wheelchair http://www.breitbart.com/video/2013/02/20/tsa-detains-3-year-old-in-wheelchair/
A few TSA heads better roll and a few need to do serious jail time. Like every bill passed and every new agency created with this regime, the name is always newspeak. “Safety” does not belong in the name just like “affordable” doesn’t belong in Obozocare.

The mother tried to tell them that her daughter might not understand what they wanted from her, but they wouldn’t listen to her, and then ended up beating the crap out of the poor teenager.
Because it’s government, I’m afraid the lawsuit won’t go anywhere.
We need to shut down a good dozen or so federal agencies, but we should start with the TSA.
My observation: low-IQ, gibmedat, mutant types.
