Donald Trumps campaign has begun formally vetting possible running mates, with former House speaker Newt Gingrich emerging as the leading candidate, followed by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. But there are more than a half-dozen others being discussed as possibilities, according to several people with knowledge of the process.
Given Trumps unpredictability, campaign associates caution that the presumptive Republican nominee could still shake up his shortlist. Like they know.
Christie has bridge to sell them.
Fill me in on Mike Pence. I read a little about him and he sounded pretty solid. I like Sessions, but fear he’s a bit too old.
#NeverChristie

NO CHRISTY NOT NO HELL NO!!!!!!
I see Gingrich as more of a Chief of Staff guy.

He’d be a phenomenal attack dog and he won 20 percent of blacks last time around.
I know a lot of people in swing state PA that like him.
We can worry about him being president later.
A Washington Post “wet dream” column. They want losers for Trump, not winners.
Gingrich had his day and Christie will never have his day. Just look at New Jersey and say, “Do we want this for the rest of America”?
We don't know who Trump's V.P. is going to be, and won't until the Convention...it just Gauls their butts not knowing what they never knew in the first place!!!

Newt would be a good choice.
NO BLIMPS
I just cant get past that Stepford wife with the helmet hair of Gingrichs. Whomever told her that look was GOOD on her......LIED
Not Christie.
AG slot maybe, but not VPOTUS.
Christie used to work for Bernie Madoff. Trump is not much of a Republican, but if he picks Christie he will turn off the conservative Republican vote.
No and No.
Period.
