One of the options does say the Second Amendment guarantees it.

From The Blacklist:
Cooper: "You think convicted felons should be allowed to carry guns?"
Reddington: "All the ones I know do."

Yes, but only for self defense?

Sounds like a "yes" to me.

470,000 - Yes
19,000 - Self defense
20,000 - No

Counting yeses and self defense brings it closer to 96%

Should people who think carrying a gun is something that should be "allowed" remain in this country ?

Beat me to it. I was going to say, "Should the right to carry a gun in public be restricted to government approval?"

Only for self-defense. msnbc wouldn't be trying to split the vote would they?

Of course you would have to prove that your self needed defending
and then there would be an agency created to decide if you should be approved
and then criminals could say they only carry to defend themselves from their victims etc., etc.

HA! 92% for 2A carry, another 20K or so for “defensive. (How does defensive differ from 2A carry? Only a dumbass outfit like MSNBC would be stupid enough to ask the same question two ways, unless they are trying to split the vote.)

Looks to me like about 4% vote NO. Show this to Trump first, then Hillary. See who agrees with 96% of the voters.

And yes, I know this cannot be scientific.

As of this posting, 472K votes, 92% for positive that the 2nd Amendment guarantees (the civil) right to carry guns, in public.

This should be the end of the discussion? But the Donks will stage their sit-in. They should bring the results of this poll into Congressional chambers with them, along with their blankies and binkies.

"Sit on this poll and twirl, Nancy, and you nancy-boys. You might get a thrill?"

Meanwhile, regular joes and josephines obviously think the Constitution is rule of law, over and above opinion to the contrary that it is not actual, binding rule of law.

"But go ahead", I say to the twirling binkie suckers -- "just try and have one of the original articles contained in the Bill of Rights done away with. If you dare that, we might just have us a Constitutional Convention which opening stanzas could include the States joining together to unanimously dissolve the present-day Federal government, and start all over."

The Constitution cannot be amended without the States ratification. If we are forced to begin traveling that road...we might just carry the Federals where they may not wish to go.

Succession, hell. Let's just do away with tyrannical bureaucrats. Fire them all, force them all to re-apply for their jobs. I'd guess that a great many Federal agencies would simply disappear, while many others shrank down to more justifiable, manageable size.

All the girls and boys
Makin all that noise
'Cause they found new toys
Well we can't salute ya
Can't find a flag
If that don't suit ya
That's a drag

ping to Salamader just 'cuz she's "evil".

Up from 472 thousand votes, 92% in support of 2nd Amendment, to 525K total votes, and now, 93% of those answering the question;

"Do you think people should be allowed to carry guns in public?

chose the answer;

Yes! The Second Amendment guarantees it.

Yes! The Second Amendment guarantees it. Got admit it's getting better, a little better all the time (it can't get no worse)(?).

Sorry for the song lyric quote, I don't really believe the Beatles all that much...

The Democrat representatives planning on staging an "Occupy" on the floor of House of Representatives want to oppose overwhelming majority, popular viewpoint of the people.

Don't the Republicans now hold majority in the House and Senate? Should it HAVE TO take holding both the Legislative and Executive branches of government to keep a minority within government from contravening the U.S. Constitution? Ho-Lee Sum Ting Wong, Batman.

Of course the binkie-sucking Democrats will always turn to the Judicial branch, when all else fails.
