You should read the Cruzers on the threads defendining Cruz...saying that since Trump is the ‘PRESUMPTIVE’ nominee, they don’t have to endorse him yet until he is the “actual?” nominee—they are nuts...had several flame wars on that!

I stated on multiple threads, well then Cruz waits till the end of the convention to endorse? That makes no sense!
Yes, and I’m doing my part. This ONE issue (though there are countless others) grates on me as trust is at the heart of it all, who in the he** can trust those 2 after this?
I keep reading, listening and watching, waiting to see what plan emerges from the narrow minded never Trump losers. It’s my sincere hope that they reconsider this foolish game, I highly doubt people will take it lying down, we’ve all had more than enough already!

That's worse than thin gruel. It's an example of hypertechnical political excuse. No worry, whn one has to "parse" a person, instead of taking the natural meaning, the person is not trustworthy, period. That's all one needs to know.
I detest Cruz anyway, becuase he knows he is ineligible, ran anyway, and lied like hell about the case law in his briefs, where challenged.

Even contracts that lack contingecies and escape clauses can be broke, but there has to be a good reason. As I noted above, all of the candidates knew one of them would be the nominee, so they all knoew they were siging on to endorse one of the people on stage. There is no contingency, no unforseeable event, no extenuating circumstance.
They lied, pure and simple, when they pledged. If they wanted a contingency, they could have added one. "I pledge to support any nominee except Trump." Easy enough to express, that was their position, but they held it back.

Precisely- Cruz KNEW explicitly that the cloud on his NBC “title” was a deal breaker, and yet- he ran anyway. That- his background, and the background of his “NAU” spouse, were exposed for all to see, is the best outcome of his ill advised run. He didn’t just shoot himself in the foot, he blew both of his legs off, clear up to his torso! BOOM!
Either Trump (hopefully) does 8 years, or, 4... with a clone VP to step in for the next 8 years (hopefully) and Cruz never again, graces a presidential debate stage.
