British entrepreneur Richard Branson today said his Virgin Group had pulled out of a deal involving 3,000 jobs after Britain voted to leave the EU.

In a television interview, the billionaire businessman added that Britain was heading for recession after the pound slumped to its lowest level against the dollar in more than three decades in the immediate aftermath of last Thursday’s referendum result.

This already happens in America (state doesn’t want gay marriage/tranny bathrooms and some CEO says they will close their business). I expect more of this to happen when Trump becomes president.

He’s an admitted socialist. IOW....’competition killer’.The socialists are now afraid that they will never be able to guillotine the royal family.

“To be honest, if there is any legal way to do it in the British Courts, I would seize enough of his assets to cover for the economic impact of him pulling out of a deal he entered while knowing fully that there was going to be a vote about staying in the EU.”

Are you serious?

You want the UK to nationalize private industry?

He was probably looking for cheap immigrant labor that won’t exist when England becomes sovereign again.

A weak pound should help Britain not hurt it.

It’s so surprising. These narcissistic guys who have no personal morality regarding women, or for that matter, morality in general, also turn out to be traitors. . . Okay, it’s not a surprise.

“You want the UK to nationalize private industry?”

No. But if someone backs out on a finalized deal, because of a political situation they knew could go either way, then they are illegally ignoring a business obligation. I don’t know that this is true in this instance, which is why I said - “if any legal way”. The globalists are attempting to blackmail Britain, and this should be dealt with as such. Don’t know about this guy in particular, but there appear to be many globalists who are not innocuous people who have just ‘worked hard’ and succeeded honestly, while playing by the rules.

Virgin air is NOT a good airline.

Flew that thing a few years ago and the interior of the planes are trashed.

this must be the phase where the ruling elite attempt to economically blackmail the little people for daring to not give them what they want.

Britain needs another Cromwell right about now.

Exactly. And Branson is probably making this statement to protect his interests in the larger EU. If he doesn't stay loyal to the bureaurcrats, they can find all sorts of ways to deep six his business.

This is the problem with the globalists. They have paid for their influence widely and therefore it's a devil to break free of them.

It closed at 133 to the dollar today. Your right.

I expect the pound to stay about there on average.

BTW, has any of the MSM mentioned how the stock market closed today?

Branson is an idiot!

The Pound is up some today, so are all of the markets, and betting against Great Britain is STUPID!

The elites are going to punish Britain.

Yep. The U.S., Britain, and Israel comprise the biggest obstacle to elitist plans, all three of them in different ways. (Branson personally despises Israel)

I'd like to see a strong alliance between Trump, Boris Johnson, and Netanyahu against the globalist elites and their Moslem bedfellows. Those three working in concert and with the necessary vigor and stamina could thwart the jihadists and globalists in a big way. It would be the Left's biggest nightmare.

Well, it’s going to be tough, but I’d be willing to bet that the British nation will be able to carry on in the absence of Mr. Branson’s custom. They have rather long memories, too, a thing any good businessman ought to keep in mind. He needs them more than they need him.

He lost big, so his answer is to penalize his fellow British citizens? How big of him!!! I hope his fellow citizens take this to heart and refuse to purchase or invest in anything Branson is involved in and he loses everything and becomes a pauper. After all he sits in his luxury and reaps benefits without suffering any of the consequences his fellow commoner Brits endured.

I hope the Queen strips him of his Sir title as well.
