The U.S. military response was perplexingly inadequate Sept. 11, 2012, the night Americans were attacked by Islamist terrorists in Benghazi, Libya.
Thats one overarching conclusion reached by two leading Republicans on the House Select Committee on Benghazi after an investigation lasting a year and a half.
Until now the administration has led us to believe the military did not have assets, men, or machines close enough or ready enough to arrive in Benghazi in time to save lives, Reps. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Mike Pompeo, R-Kansas, write. An asset that could have made a difference would have been armed drones. And as the committee learned, it would have been relatively fast and easy to arm a drone.

Cue the “Shocked” guy from Maltese Falcon...
So when are these bastards going to prison?
0bama/Jarret wanted Ambassador Stevens murdered and they wanted it covered up by “natives” enraged over a video.
GM is alive, and Bin Laden is dead.
I'm shocked.
Casablanca.......................
Just repeat the evidence. The media will move to protect Hillary, but this is a major issue. She can’t be trusted to protect us on national security and then moves to coverup for these disasters.
The Maltese Falcon?????
SO why did they want him dead? Seems easier and lower profile ways for doing it.
Nixon got impeached for much less! Even when they laughed about Bill lying under oath about sex-this is national security.
Minor quibble: Casablanca, not The Maltese Falcon.
But, yeah, I’m utterly shocked...as much as I am when the Sun comes up in the East and when dead people vote for Democrats.

President Obama and Hillary Clinton likely made the decision to falsely tie an inflammatory anti-Islam Internet video to the fatal Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack that left four Americans dead in Benghazi, Libya, the chief of the conservative government watchdog group Judicial Watch (JW) told Breitbart News.
The president and then-Secretary of State Clinton sought the assistance from domestic and foreign jihadists in spreading the online video lie, added JW President Tom Fitton.
Breitbart News spoke to Fitton about newly released Benghazi attack-related documents pried out of the U.S. State Department under a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed by JW last September.
One of the document shows that the Pentagon received a request for military assets in response to the attack, but the Obama administration seemingly refused.
An email from the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) to top White House and other administration officials states, OSD has received queries asking if military assets are being sent to either location [Libya and Egypt]. Have responded not to our knowledge. The Obama administrations initial response explaining the cause of the attack was immediately determined by top Obama White House officials contrary to the presidents claim that it was based on intelligence available at the time.
Obama officials and the president himself linked an anti-Islam Internet video to the attack, saying it incited the terrorists who carried out the assault. The president said the video link was gleaned from the best understanding of the intelligence that had been provided.
However, Fitton told Breitbart News, We havent found any records that the video...(Excerpt) Read more at breitbart.com ...
In addition to that stonewalling, perfidy and lying, the administration raised “state secret” argument in reaction to questions about arms running out of the compound. That line of questioning was abandoned as a result.
Obama has no earthly clue what ‘transparent’ means.
Mr Shocked is in Casablanca. Fat Man is the Maltese Falcon fellow.
You mean ‘Casablanca’ right?
And yes one would think there are easier ways to silence someone but I also think that, typical of this administration, they botched this badly and failed to anticipate the ramifications.
