Australia should get out fast, especially now that Germany and France are proposing merging the remaining EU members into a single European superstate.

Berlin_Freeper sure is palpably mad at England for daring to defy the great European Union.

Again, it’s whites under attack. It’s a worldwide powergrab that benefits white elites who are trying to gain control of the world economy by destroying the white middle class around the world. At least that’s the way I see it.

Wonderful summary of a proud history! Its funny, Americans don’t always acknowledge our own historical ties with Britain as passionately- but they run every bit as deep. Most of this nation is white & most of the whites are of Anglo Celtic heritage. Our language, our customs, our culture runs deep with that heritage. It is true that Britain made mistakes with her American colonies by not allowing more local control. However, 250 years later, like Australia & Canada & New Zealand, Britain remains our motherland. We are all part of the Anglosphere. I’ve long believed we should rejoin the Commonwealth, as we are part of of that same family of nations. I have an incredible amount of respect for the Queen!

There is a bit of a strange gray area because the constitution delegates many powers directly to the Governor-General, including the power to dissolve parliament, while delegating others to or through the Queen. So there is some dispute about whether the Queen can actually exercise powers specifically assigned to the GG.

In any case it would be very unusual and there would probably be bigger things to worry about if the situation had deteriorated to the point of the Queen personally intervening.

I agree, sounds like a bunch of BS from people that are simply JEALOUS that Britain got the world’s attention, at least for a week. Now they want a piece of it.

As I understand it, Australia’s ties to Britain is 99% symbolic, although maybe I’m a bit off.

Damn, nice write-up! Thanks. I always wondered how Australia and other Commonwealth countries made the transition from colonies to effective self-government so smoothly. Now I know...it was done slowly with both sides wanting the same outcome.

“...and it has come close to happening once - on November 11th, 1975.”

Interesting. Here in the states, our president simply prints and spends money regardless of what’s authorized by Congress. Our phantom opposition party, the Republicans, have nothing to say about it, since objecting to the president’s policies is considered racism here.

“...I’ve long believed we should rejoin the Commonwealth.”

Now that would be something if Trump proposed it! Just watch the Dems LOSE IT, on that.

So this guy wants Britain in the EU yet wants Australia out of the commonwealth. He is clearly a Europhilic, Anglophobic leftist.

“Republican agitators are very often typical anti-Australian leftists. They hate white people and think Australia is an illegally occupied Asian country, they think the Australian flag is racist, they deny an Australian identity, they think that preventing unlimited third-world immigration is fascist, and they claim to want “independence” (from Australia’s own head of state) while wanting to subvert the country’s sovereignty to all manner of corrupt international organizations.”

And then there’s Malcolm Turnbull.

Australians reject a republic, knowing it will only add another layer to our already bloated government.

"Democracy" is like an opiate drug. The more you get, the more you need until it kills you.........................
