Dr. Ben Carson’s brilliance is beyond debate. However, there is a definite reason why I would trust the famed neurosurgeon to operate on my child’s brain and not entrust him with the Oval Office.
Now, the former presidential candidate has declared that it is time to “put on the table” a discussion on whether or not we actually need the Second Amendment.

I’m fine with having a discussion about 2A...anyone who thinks it should be repealed or modified needs to submit their proposed constitutional amendments to do that, and try to get 2/3s of the congress and 3/4 of the states to agree.

Either the 2nd Amendment should be abolished, or it's a natural right given to us by our Creator. I wish the Left would stop with this "common-sense" gun law crap and state their real intended purpose.

I think most Americans with even a modicum of common sense would take a look around at our increasingly oppressive federal fascist regime and conclude that we absolutely DO need the Second Amendment.
The Founding Fathers were correct in their wisdom, the Second Amendment isn’t for sportsmen and hunters and target shooters, it is for WE THE PEOPLE to arm up and shoot the living sh!t out of ANY oppressive regime that tries to take over our Nation, either from the outside, or the INSIDE.
