POLK COUNTY, TN (WRCB) - A campaign sign in Polk County is stirring up a lot of controversy.
The sign, located off Highway 411 near Benton, says "Make America White Again" and was put there by Rick Tyler, an independent candidate in the race for Tennessee's 3rd congressional district seat currently held by Chuck Fleischmann.
Tyler told Channel 3, he has no hatred in his heart for "people of color." He says the sign's message is that America should go back to a "1960s, Ozzie and Harriet, Leave it to Beaver time when there were no break-ins; no violent crime; no mass immigration."

Just make America redneck again. Rednecks come in many colors.
Either that or he will be elected in a landslide.
He’s an idiot — or a liberal plant.
yeah : )
“Make America White Again”
Verboten.
But “chocolate city”, “our city”, “embrace diversity”, and other leftist, open-borders slogans are laudatory.
It’s not about skin color.
It’s about having a culture of personal responsibility. Cut government by 50% and stop all the Nanny State giveaways. Tell people in all demographic groups that they need to pull their own weight.
You’ll get back to a 1960 Ozzie & Harriet society to a large extent.
Not a chance. First of all, that society didn’t really exist. Television shows are not and never have been an accurate depiction of society. More importantly, though, the low skill jobs that paid relatively well back then are gone forever, leaving behind the societal ills we see today.
Lastly, such a society isn’t really even desirable. I wouldn’t want to turn back to an integrated, sexually repressed society.
“Make America American Again” .... would have been a better ... more powerful slogan.
Make America Judeo-Christian again!!
No doubt done by Hillary supporters... Typical lol
Liberal manufactured hate.
* Rednecks come in many colors. *
Amen, and so do blue collar workers, like my dad.
How about “Make white OK again” instead?
2) A strong national economy can be recreated. It will be different, but we can have a country with decent jobs for people. It's not gone forever.
3) Only Leftists think that the 1950s were sexually repressed. Feminists and Homosexuals have told lies about our society prior to the wonderful 1960s sexual revolution. We've gone downhill through that change, we have not magically improved and become "unrepressed".
4) You misuse the word "integrated". What you meant was "segregated". And I swear, EVERY TIME someone like me says "The 1950s were pretty good" someone like you shows up and basically implies that a call for the return of Jim Crow laws has been issued by some racist fool like me. You need to grow up. A society with less government is NOT a society of slavery and/or Jim Crow. Find a new theme.
“Make America Intelligent Again”.
You can’t get very racist until we neuter guys this IQ and below.
And imagine the extra workload. I’d better eat more fish.
(Insert long, bloody civil war)
Youll get back to a 1960 Ozzie & Harriet society to a large extent.
There... adjusted for reality.
Democrats had their thumbs on the racial situation all the way from antebellum times through now. They wanted slavery; they wanted Jim Crow; they wanted welfare bribery; they wanted a troublemaker president.
The tail end of Jim Crow days is when IN SPITE OF IT black families were flourishing almost as well as white families in the USA, in terms of integrity if not in terms of wealth.
Had, when Jim Crow ended, the Democrats finally ceded the race issue as no longer germane to life in America, we could have entered something close to a racial Shangri-La. People would be thinking of racial oppression as a bad dream that had finally concluded.
But if you can’t straightforwardly oppress a race into being oppressed, you can bribe it into perceiving that it has been oppressed, and the bribe is more effectual.
“He says the sign’s message is that America should go back to a “1960s, Ozzie and Harriet, Leave it to Beaver time when there were no break-ins; no violent crime; no mass immigration.”
America never was like that. Leave it to Beaver was fiction.
Violent crime did exist.
And there was immigration.
Beaver was a broad approximation of a widely embraced ideal. We didn’t have rampant balkanization at that time.
