A jury has convicted veteran U.S. Congressman Chaka Fattah in a racketeering case that largely centered on various efforts to repay an illegal $1 million campaign loan.
Fattah was found guilty of all 22 counts against him, including racketeering, fraud and money laundering. His lawyers had argued that schemes were engineered without Fattah's knowledge by two political consultants who pleaded guilty in the case.
Fattah's jovial and calm demeanor didn't change much as the verdict was read....

Republicans should make comparisons between him and Hillary over their charity schemes.... Fattah arranged for federal dollars to go to a charity which then kicked money back to him. Hillary does similar charity corruption on a far grander scale.

This is the clown the libs trot out every time there’s something racial to talk about. No doubt someone is going to say his arrest is racially motivated. It always amazes me when I hear that there is a disproportionate number of blacks in jail. Perhaps this arrest suggests that’s because blacks commit a disproportionately high number of crimes.

Unfortunately, due to the timing of when he was indicted, the state Dems. and unions were able to organize for a replacement, a liberal state rep. named Dwight Evans, who beat Fattah in the primary in April.
Since it is a highly “blue” ‘Rat district Evans is sure to win in Nov. and replace Fattah in Jan. 2017.
People never learn from history. See for example “Reconstruction” imposed upon our people by Northern Politicians in the 1860’s and 70’s and imposed upon us by the courts from 1950 to date. Low intelligence coupled with poor impulse control renders some unable to honestly govern.

?? not sure what you mean.... if you are talking about Fattah’s seat in the House, the PA 2nd Congressional District is just about the least competitive in the country for Republicans. In 2014 Fattah won with 88% of the vote and he was already well known as a corrupt slimebag. No, that district will never vote Republican. I don’t even know who the R. candidate is but the R. party has a better chance in almost any other urban area than in West Philly.
