Donald Trump's campaign started the month with a paltry $1.3 million in cash a mere fraction of Hillary Clinton's $42.5 million war chest putting the GOP frontrunner at a sharp disadvantage heading into the general election against Clinton's money machine.
And it's not just money the filings revealed a campaign staff of less than 70, a number was dwarfed by Clinton's nearly 700 paid employees, and few of the campaign's expenses suggested work had begun to build out a more robust operation. All together, it's the most lopsided fundraising start to a presidential election in the modern campaign finance era."

I think the media is seeing its revenues sink this election cycle. OMG, Trump only has a million dollars, (panic, oh panic) he can’t possibly win with that! or pay us off? - he could make up that out of petty cash.
LOL...Cankles sold her sole.
She’s sold her soul, as well. The gist of your post is spot on.
But how much of the 42.5 million will be going into the Clinton family foundation nest egg?
Does anyone think Trump cannot raise what he needs to raise?
Pray America wakes
Doesn’t matter at all. No one needs to donate money to Trump, this is all a non-issue.
“Trump only has to put out a call for money and hed have $50m in a heartbeat.”
..and that’s just from his immediate associates.
Interesting how so many fall for the idea that money translates into votes after witnessing the rousing success of big spending Jeb.
“Quisling never Trump Republicans”
On November 29th, when we are giving thanks for a Trump victory, we won’t forget their names and what they did.
They are trying to throw the election to Hillary Clinton, and it is beyond reprehensible.
They will be tossed aside by their Dem friends, as usual, and will be persona non grata in the new Republican party.
Bingo! They will attempt to make it appear close all the way to the end to try to force the candidates to spend.
Many, like myself, are waiting to see if Trump becomes our nominee or if the Republican Party will commit suicide. Once that is determined, and only then, will I send my money. No reason to support the Republican Party if they chose to commit suicide.
What I wonder, do ads change anyones votes? I think it’s wasted money with the internet up and running.
As counterintuitive as it seems to be donating money to a billionaire.....
It would make a lot of sense for us to pull a Bernie and FLOOD Trump with small donations. It will empower him to stand his ground and keep saying “no” to the donor class (which is why we’re electing him anyway, isn’t it?)
Particularly when all DJT has to do is write a check !
Looks like tomorrow is the Trump’s delayed Hillary speech.
“What I wonder, do ads change anyones votes? I think its wasted money with the internet up and running.”
Trump is conducting a graduate level seminar in how to use twitter and youtube to devastating effect.
NeverTrumpers are just using stories like this to push the narrative to the delegates that they should switch their nominating vote to someone other than Trump...
And how much did the GOPe/Dems spend to bump Trump out of the running? A Billion? More?
Go Trump Go!
The 7.5 years of obummer provides more votes for you than any amount of $.
If sending money, Send it directly to Trump not RNC
DonaldJTrump.com
Let him know we support him! A small amount — a substancial amount. Either is a contribution to our country not just to the candidate
Be part of he movement !
Hillary has to raise her cash in advance.
After me becomes the nominee at the convention I will send what I can whenever I can.
Go Trump go!
