A meeting was recently held within the high-rise confines of Trump Tower. On one side of the table sat Donald Trump and his three of his adult children, Ivanka, Don Jr. and Eric.The opposite side of the table included the two primary targets of Mr. Trump’s attention – longtime Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, and a representative for the more recent addition to the Team Trump, veteran political operative, Paul Manafort. Manafort and Lewandowski have been at odds since the day Manafort arrived. Initially there were those within the Trump campaign who were fiercely loyal to the equally loyal, Lewandowski, and that was enough to keep Lewandowski in Donald Trump’s good graces.

What do you/Goldberg mean by “pumping.” If you mean coverage, yes, but inserted into all that coverage, in all cases, was twisting of statements, non-reporting of statements, confrontation, adversarial commentary, venom, and lying. It will continue.

Trump is no doubt dealing w/ real threats to his life. The violent thugs showing up at his rallies must be taking a toll.

As an aside tidbit on CNN's correspondent, Dana Bash (one of the chief anti-GOP and anti-Trump nasty bee-itches and news manipulators on that network), married fellow CNN correspondent, John King (another anti-Trumper) in 2008.

He was Roman Catholic, he converted to Judaism for her before they married. They split in 2012. It was her second divorce.

She conducted the interview of Corey Lewandowski linked just above.

If this politically psychotic "journalist" stated on the air that the sun rose in the east, I wouldn't believe her and would question her motives for stating same.

Weak attempt on your part to conflate two issues. There’s no contradiction between the poster’s comment and the founders’ vision of separation of powers.

The founders saw a need for an Executive branch and, within the context of separation of powers, a ‘man in charge’.

She was longing for a man to run America, not the Executive branch.

At least on the surface it seems that Trump has treated Lewandowski with infinite grace... there had been talk for some time about conflicts within the campaign structure - a cancer that must eventually be exorcised. Trump stood by Lewandowski in the ridiculous effort of the media to paint a picture of the aide pulling a journalist to the floor - which the video failed to support in the least.

When a cancer is cut out sometimes healthy local tissues must be sacrificed, but the outcome is the important goal. I was pleased to hear Lewandowski continue to support his candidate... all seems fair and proper.

Trump has a field of fire that is unbeatable. I simply cannot believe that a world-class racketeer and extortionist can not only run roughshod over the law but also rich and powerful world leaders, and run for President - and so successfully. It is a symptom of how successfully Odamna and the Democraps have destroyed all the things that have made America great.

When Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and all the other entitlements run out of money these rats - like all smart rats - will desert the sinking ship with their ill-gotten gains and the people will be left to sweep up the mess.
