House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., says he has no influence over Republican convention delegates' decisions on whether to change their minds about supporting Donald Trump.
Ryan, who endorsed Trump earlier this month, is the convention's chairman. But he told NBC's "Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd, "It is not my job to tell delegates to do, what not to do, or to weigh in on things like that. They write the rules. They make their decisions."
Asked for his opinion on the matter, Ryan said, "My opinion is not relevant here."
Trump reaffirmed Sunday that he can win the presidency whether the Republican Party gets behind his candidacy or not.

If you call what Ryan’s doing even keeled, we’ll just have to agree to disagree. I see him working hard for Mrs. Clinton—and I might add that I’m hardly alone.
What I’m saying is that tit for tat isn’t a Christian option. You could certainly point out that the person is breaking the rules. You could point out that name calling and insulting are counterproductive. But as a Christian you can’t give as good as you get; Jesus forbade it.
We can disagree here....I’ve been studying the Bible for almost forty years....
There are lots of examples of Christians like Paul pushing back on other believers when they were wrong....to correct them....
Like I said, normally I am very civil and nice, I have found that certain posters need to be pushed back on hard...
This was not our first dance between Chogal and myself...she has several times been rude and nasty to me....for real no good reason....
Some people can’t handle anonymity and think anything goes...
The American people have chosen Trump to represent them in the Presidential Election of 2016, fair and square. It is intolerable for the RINO community, to weaken the candidate in any way. You support Ryan in his endeavor. How you justify your position is immaterial to me.
You may call me anything you wish. I do not care. I do not require a safe space. You may vote for Trump in November, but you did not vote for him earlier this year. That is not my business but your support of Obama’s/Hillary's Beta Butt Boy Ryan indicates that you are a piss poor loser.
Paul was not shy of a confrontation, but he never called a person he was directly interacting with a retard.
As for us:
Luke 6:27-29
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
27 But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 Whoever hits you on the cheek, offer him the other also; and whoever takes away your coat, do not withhold your shirt from him either.

It looks like Cruz has bedded with the DC Cartel/RINOs. Cruz's unelected Colorado Delegate, Kendall Unruh, wants to unbind all delegates at the convention to allow allow them to vote their conscience at the convention so another leader can squeak in.
Love you too....hope you feel better by making my point...
I’m already infuriated ; this can only add gas to the fire.
I think I’ve finally figured it out. During the Obama years billions of dollars flowed annually into all the players’ pockets. I.e.: the corruption, which had been bad already, simply exploded. It was completely out of control.
Now they’re driven by terror of exposure. Trump is the only one smart enough and independent enough to expose them. That’s why they’re fighting him tooth and nail.
I used to call that hidious, ugly and retard “little Eddie Munster” because he looks like him and is evil.
Now, I’ve changed my name for him to Little Eddie the Bastard! The change is required since he has now gone past the limits of evil and dons the hat of a Bastard child of Freedom.
If a queef had a look to it, it would look like Ryan in that photo.....
Do keep that Fox Business url handy. It comes in hand for the Cruz/RINO deadenders. And do watch it if your blood pressure allows it. The arrogance is staggering. ; )
“Do you actually think Ryan will give up whatever leverage he has as Speaker due to separation of Powers provision..”
Are you serious? He already has. He’s given Obama everything he wants without even a wimper, but now that he has a Republican presidential candidate who’s fighting for the conservative values that Ryan claims to share, he does everything he can to undermine the possibility of his election. Whatever happened to that, we’re only 1/3 of the government pablum?
Do you really not get it or are you just pretending? If you really don’t get it, I’m sorry for your stupidity. If you’re just pretending, I’m sorry that you’re a troll.
——Right back at you, and it pleases me greatly that you are in total agreement with my positions.——
So you are OK with a piss poor loser like me being Trump supporter....
You might want to re-read my posts about Ryan....for some reason only you can fathom, you think I support him....
Maybe you need new glasses...?
I will save the link—thanks!
it is not easy spending 21,000,000,000,000, dollars annually. Takes a lot of imagination.
No, not stupid or a troll....
I was speaking in terms of his relationship with Trump, not Obama...
I think Ryan is concerned that Trump will act like Obama with executive powers...
Just so we are clear, people get knee jerky when comparing the two...
I don’t think that, but Ryan might...which explains him to a degree...
We all know Ryan will roll over like a good doggie for Zero...
That’s a lot of bucks. The corruption must be insane. Sure explains their aversion to Trump.
Actually I’d prefer not to get into pissing contests and have a civil discourse...and not violate the rules for posting...
Of course you are the one who started with “piss poor loser” comment, so I’m not really sure what you are taliking about taking my lauguage on the chin....
I just responded to your uncalled, rude and obnoxious comment...
You gave, I returned....
I was hoping you would figure out that you were misguided on your first comment, but clearly I’m talking to someone thinks being nasty and rude is a way to roll....
