Does it matter if the Supreme Court hears it? It would be a 4 to 4 decision.

I didn't see it in this article, but I think I read where the lower court ruled against the 2nd Amendment, so a 4-4 decision would let that stand.

Has anyone heard when their decisions are coming out? It should be before the end of the month. I haven’t heard or read a thing about it. I think most cases were decided long before Scalia’s death and just not to be announced until June. With everything that’s taken up our time and minds since they went back to work last October, I don’t even remember what decisions we’re waiting for. AHHHH! The great distractions. They can distract us all they want but we will never be distracted from what is becoming of our country!

That would mean that the lower courts decision banning the weapons would stand.

Not so sure about that. If they agree to hear it now, the actual proceeding will not be for quite a while. They may have a 9th judge by then.

And, Heller is precedent. Even the libs on the court agree with that. maintaining precedent is very important, even for libs and decisions they don't like.
