What is it like to fire an AR-15? It’s horrifying, menacing and very very loud (LOL/Barf!)

This pussy would find a gay dinner theater too masculine and intimidating.
One of the pluses of the AR15 is that lack of recoil makes for more accurate followup shots. The only thing with less recoil is a 22 or maybe an air rifle. I’ve not shot any of the modern air rifles so I don’t know that to be fact.

difficulty explaining why law-abiding citizens need a gun that can empty a 40-round magazine in a few seconds. The first 10 amendments to the Constitution are not called the Bill of Needs.

Funny, the first time I fired one in a concrete foxhole on the BRM range at Ft. Sill, I thought is was just a little hotter than firing a .22 WMR. You could tuck the butt of an M-16 into your applesack and fire on full auto, and get nothing but a thrill. What a wuss.

What a woosy! I just taught a 16 year old girl to shoot one. You’d think she invented it listening to how she praises it. Her parents were just stupefied that she now wants one of her own, even to forsake having her own car.

That’d be me. A friend who was a collector took me to a shooting range years ago and tried to teach me. I shot a revolver and some kind of Beretta handgun. I was shaking like a leaf! The odd thing was that I was a pretty good shot (beginner’s luck) but never wanted to do it again. I think I’d prefer a rifle - and would be happiest at archery, instead.
