The Donald Trump campaign has sent its first "emergency" fundraising email to supporters Saturday, seeking to raise at least $100,000 by the end of the day.
That request follows a multimillion dollar ad blitz launched by likely general election rival Hillary Clinton this week. "Right now we're facing an emergency goal of $100,000 to help get our ads on the air," the email said. "We need your contribution by 11:59 P.M. Tonight."
"Crooked Hillary is about to invade your TV with ads attacking Mr. Trump. But we're preparing to fight back," it reads, adding that the campaign plans to attack Clinton over her role in Benghazi and the FBI probe into her use of a private email server while secretary of state.

I volunteer at local HQ and am on every Trump email list...no requests have been received and I have been checking since this first posted.
I am afraid this must refer to a PAC or the awful RNC.

I got an email from his campaign. It said Hillary had raised about $24,000,000 to start running anti Trump ads and this is to fund his own ads. If I remember correctly, he used his own money for the primaries. It is only right that his supporters have a hand donating money. No other candidate has used their own money so why should he?

Dude already funded his own primary campaign to the tune of $55 million.
He just finished fundraising events in TX and NV that raised almost $13 million for the RNC in the past two days.
He said today that if the RNC fails to get behind him and fund his campaign like they promised, he will go it alone.
I have already invested in his campaign, directly.

I kicked in $50 directly at his site (always). Never a dime for the cronies at the RNC, LOL.

Agree with you, I will NEVER send money to the RNC or a PAC. Any and every one of my donations will go directly to the candidate’s website. I went to the article, this was clearly some PAC asking for money.
I wasn't on Cruz's list but i got about 6 to 10 a day from his campaign or someone claiming to represent him. I have never gotten anything from Trump's campaign.

I gave on Trump’s birthday and spread the message hoping to inspire family and friends who support Trump to follow suit.
However, at the age of 60 I am no longer surprised when people refuse to financially support people or institutions who share the same beliefs. Many of these people have mach more -things, toys, and vacations- than me.
Yes, Trump is rich but he will be sacrificing much more than my donations if / when he wins.

It was possible to unsubscribe from any Cruz list.
Go to Trump’s site and you can probably subscribe if you like.
I didn't try because most of those unsubscribe buttons just certify your email address as real. I finally gave up and added a filter which mostly works.
