House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said on Tuesday that immigrants who want to enter the United States as refugees should be thoroughly vetted for security reasons and that religion should play no role in that vetting.
We believe, ultimately, that we ought to have the tools where we have a security test not a religious test a security test, Ryan said at a briefing with reporters at the Capitol, and we think thats the preferred route to go.

It's a deathcult. You farking ball gargler.
1st security question” “Are you a mameber of any group that wants to overthrow america?”
Ans: “Yes, Islam.”
“Bye”
Strawman.
Islamists’ beliefs are a security concern, and would/ would not be part of Ryan’s security test?.
I long for the day it is ex-speaker paulie rino.
How will we do the security check? Will Assad’s security police share their files with us?
How about NO MORE IMMIGRATION WHILE UNEMPLOYMENT IS UP?
And how,do you sort out the ones who may pass initial vetting, but will morph into radicals? And why let in the ones who are “peaceful”, but who essentially all come to obey their religion and engage in stealth Jihad, become a majority and implement Sharia law?
Ryan is like a leftist who does not futurize.
Why the hell is it that even republican leaders still bend over backwards, to avoid saying anything about Islam or Muslim terrorism or the threat ofnMuslim extremism???
God help us All. I seriously doubt we could win world war II today with the type of half assed thinking which drives the policies and actions of our leaders today.
What I want his to say:
My policies have failed. My hatred for this country has proven to be a disaster. My love for muslims has overpowered my common sense. As of today, at 12.01 PM, I have resigned and am accepting a job with the Ayatolla of Iran, as Chief Imam. Sssalaam alekum and allaku akbar.
Nobody disagrees with that Paul. But as Trump has said, until we can get a safe, solid way of securing these unknown immigrants from openly hostile countries and /or those sharing or adhering to openly threatening political and religious views, a political/religious as well as nationality test may have to suffice.
Again, Paul, national security trumps politician correctness. If you don’t get that, then you’re part of the problem, not part of the solution.
Get it straight you dopes. Islam is mainly a POLITICAL force that includes legal as well as religions elements.
Almost all of Congress is bought and paid for, or, blackmailed.
“religion should play no role in that vetting”
Just how well do you expect that to work out in the real world?
If it is the kids who haven’t even been born yet who decide to kill a bunch of people, just how are you going to measure their security threat level?
And we’re going the Ryan route because he’s President of...oh yes, that’s right NOTHING.
I would definitely be very selective. Countries like Australia, for example, only allow a visa if a non-citizen has a skill where there is a shortage of a work specialty. I know America has a long history of immigration, but we now have 300M+ citizens. I think it is time to be more selective on who we allow in....especially given present security concerns.
correct Ryno
all muslims should undergo security screening
the one who don’t pass get to live in your congressional district
“How about NO MORE IMMIGRATION WHILE UNEMPLOYMENT IS UP?”
Mr. K has my vote to replace that POS Ryan
Thank You. Almost 100 million out of the workforce and these pus chancre politicians think we need more immigrants.
Ryan/traitor - MUST GO
And a security test would have helped with Major Hidal.......HOW?????
Would have helped with San Bernadino state gov. worker.....HOW?????
Would have helped with this gov. contractor security person.....HOW????
HEY LYIN RYAN the ONLY DAMNED thing they have in common IS religion!!!!
Who is Mr. K I like Nehlen!!!!!
His blather, here, shows no insight, only fear of not trying to sound "politically correct," in order to distract from the Trump campaign. How do you vet someone with a strong religious outlook, without contemplating the likely influence of that religious outlook on his subsequent actions? How do you vet any person, of any Faith, who has a strong religious outlook, without considering the effect of that outlook?
Ryan's "politically correct" pretensions make no sense, whatsoever, if he is not part of a concerted effort to keep distracting the media and Republican base, from the actual issues that Donald Trump is tackling. Is Ryan stupid? Is he so terribly afraid? Or is he contemptibly devious?
I used to think he was a bright, principled young Conservative. He is really making me feel stupid for that.
