As I hoped would happen, American Thinkers series on TWA Flight 800 has prompted individuals with first hand knowledge to come forward. Mark Johnson is one. An air traffic controller (ATC), he worked the night of July 17, 1996 -- the night TWA Flight 800 was destroyed -- at the New York Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) located in Westbury, New York.
Johnson has provided me with his real name, and I have confirmed that he was in a position to know what he says he knows. He requested that I use an alias because he has children who depend on him. The federal government, he believes, will seek revenge, retribution and/or any other remedy they feel like. I would be fearful my pension would be at risk. I have heard this sentiment voiced by many people involved in this incident.
Although Johnson was not responsible for tracking TWA Flight 800, he spoke directly with the ATC who did. In fact, he asked him plenty of questions to prepare myself for the suits who were beginning to arrive. Along with several other ATCs, he viewed the radar tape of the incident. According to Johnson, A primary radar return (ASR-9) indicated vertical movement intersecting TWA 800.
An advanced radar system, the Northrop Grumman ASR-9 is able to detect a target in severe clutter even when the target has no transponder. The absence of a transponder is what distinguishes a primary radar return from a secondary one. In others words, the radar picked up a small, unidentified, ascending object intersecting TWA 800 in the second before the 747 disappeared from radar.

Most of the information regarding German missile development during WWII does not appear on the Internet. I found a treasure trove in the Georgia Tech Engineering Library in the rocketry section. They even have copies of Von Braun's notes from Peenemünde; however, those were in German. Those are most assuredly not on the Internet.
Most youngsters seem to think that the Internet "has it all".
Well I'm certainly no youngster and I do remember pre-internet times where I read a lot of books on history, especially military history. Come to think of it I still read a lot of books post-internet as well but I digress.
The long and short is that I have never come across any reference to a subsurface-to-air missile developed or tested or used by the German navy in World War II. It still strikes me as being the stuff of Tom Clancy novels since nobody has yet offered a suggestion on how such a weapon would work without placing the submarine in danger.

As a Navy guy, I would expect you'd understand that subs have a stealth advantage in certain situations. I'm speculating that the Navy took advantage of that to hook up a sub-to-air missile system, controlled and operated probably by an extension of the Aegis multi-ship satellite-linked area-control system that is already operational and was present and active in a Naval exercise that day TWA800 was shot down.
And you want wiring diagrams.

I think he's looking for sense, as am I. And I don't see any practicality in the weapon system you described. If the Aegis ship has the aircraft on radar then why not shoot it down? Why give a way the submarine's position to do it? I can see no reason for it.
Which is another way of saying you don't have any grasp of what good evidence is.

There is no danger from speaking or writing the conclusions the government wants. Saying the president ordered a coverup of Iranians shooting down a US commercial aircraft (right before an election) would get you in serious trouble if you happen to be employed by the Government.
The Germans had a lot of interesting stuff even at the beginning of the war; however, Hitler wouldn't let defensive weapons get much funding since that seemed like a "defeatist attitude" to him. The ME262 first flew in 1939, but did not enter production until 1944 when it was too late.
If I come across that submarine weapon again I will send you some sort of link or reference. I can't remember where I saw it. The development program did not get very far since it started only after the "happy days" of the U-Boat were long gone and such funding was divided among a number of panic projects.
Really? The National Electrical Code does this with buildings all day every day. One thing the NEC absolutely specifies is that signal wires can not run inside the same conduit as power carrying wires. It's not allowed at all.
Hard to believe they don't apply as stringent standards to aircraft as they do to buildings.

Then why use it or even develop it? Especially in the mid-1990's when submarines can dive deeper, run quieter, move faster, and maneuver easier than the subs of World War II? Such a weapon makes zero sense, and any submariner would confirm.
Me neither. I'm just talking about how it might have been done. If people saw a missile rising from the water to hit a plane traveling higher and faster than is reachable by a MANPAD of the time, and there's no ship it came from, then you need an invisible launch platform for a high performance missile to explain the facts. That's why I suggest a sub - modified to do the job.
As for why, I have no idea, unless what actually happened IS the why. Although in that case, it seems that there's a cheaper way to kill people. But maybe that grand cover story is what the Clintons wanted. After all, they're nothing BUT grand cover stories, and when the taxpayer is paying for it all and the media will spin it, their attitude is who cares?
As near as I can tell the only conceivable reason for a weapon such as you described is to give people a reason to blame the downing on the Clintons and use the U.S. Navy as their accomplices.
Yes, I was a navy guy and understand the stealth advantage of submarines quite well as I was on them. The stealth advantage is so great that the US Navy hasn't felt it necessary to equip its submarines with anti-aircraft weaponry. We hide or destroy the ship that launch the aircraft.

Can you at least acknowledge that you're adding an entirely new layer to the conspiracy theory by speculating the existence of a weapon system that either never existed or is a bigger secret than nuclear missiles, the nuclear propulsion system or the quiet screw technology?

I feel for you. Trying to argue that aircraft are cobbled up masses of wiring held together by bubble cum and bailing wire is no easy sell to people who know better.
