What we found was the girls who had earlier breast development had a higher risk of depressive symptoms, or more depressive symptoms, said Dr. C. Mary Schooling, an epidemiologist who is a professor at the City University of New York School of Public Health, and was the senior author on the study. We didnt see the same thing for boys.
...Earlier onset of breast development in girls was associated with a higher risk of depression in early adolescence even after controlling for many other factors, including socioeconomic status, weight or parents marital status...
The biological transition of puberty, of course, occurs in a social and cultural context. One very important effect of developing early, Dr. Mendle said, is that it changes the way that people treat you, from your peers to the adults in your life to strangers. When kids navigate puberty they start to look different, she said. It can be hard for them to maintain friendships with kids who havent developed, and we also know that early maturing girls are more likely to be harassed and victimized by other kids in their grade.

I’m telling you about the Mercy and you are rejecting it.
Jesus said treat others, not as they have earned, but as you would hope to be treated.
HE is due that. HE, HE, HE. Not you!
I think you should read the charge before pronouncing judgement.
I did, and my remarks are dead on accurate. Sinning against God is pretty plenary. No problem hitting a fly with a cannon ball.
No, you are advocating surrender to subjectivity. Haven't you ever read the story of the servant that begged mercy, then refused to extend it? Do you remember the fate of that servant?
Moral certitude is not pride, but taking the name of the Lord in vain, is.
“..girls as young as 7.. They offered no cause.”
Seems like I read somewhere about a link to prior use of birth control pills by the mother. Her body’s hormones are overloaded and out of whack, that even after she stops taking them and becomes pregnant, residues remain in her blood and endocrine system. These hormonal residues might pass into the fetus in utero.
IIRC, the study claimed the result was early puberty in girls, and gender dysphoria in boys.
I’ve read other studies that claim oral contraceptives pass into the water supply and can cause a host of health problems to humans and wildlife.
Oh no! That’s terrible that you had to wear those! But you get credit for being an obedient son.
Please explain your understanding of the matter, as it seems to differ so much from mine.
Just being close to a Kardashian can induce breast growth and ass plumping!
Seriously though, didn't girls used to enter puberty at about 12-14?
Now you hear of 8 and 9 year old girls getting their fist menses! WTF is up with that?
It must be horrifying for an 8 or 9 year old girl to get her first period if it all has not been carefully explained to them... But what parent expects it to happen so soon. I bet many girls see the mess and nearly faint thinking they are injured somehow. :-(
I don't think it is so easy to be a girl.
Breasts are an objective fact. The affinity men have for breasts is also an objective fact. Giving a subjective judgement for objective fact is incongruous.
It’s the diametrical opposite of “gilding the lily.”
Ora che ho perso la vista, ci vedo di piu.
And one more thing if you will.
Please google a woman named Allison Armstrong of Pax. She does teaching on learning to appreciate men as men. Invariably, she opens her lectures by informing her audience “men are NOT hairy women.” That is to say, women can not project their own psyches onto men to determine men’s psyches.
What? Where did you read that??,
Do these same experts say people are born homosexual?
This is what I read:
http://www.news.cornell.edu/stories/2013/11/sex-abuse-triggers-early-puberty-and-its-problems
Cornell. Bunch of perverts. And to treat these abused children as guinea pigs is wrong. And one in five girls are sexually abused? I question where they came up with that.
I don’t know, but I know enough abused ladies who have confided in me, and I have never worked in a position with which they would have told me.
Incest and date rape drugs are the majority I know of.
It is in no way wrong for men to be interested in breasts. I also understand that more of anything gets more attention - bigger nose, stronger scent, louder noise.
In my opinion, not admitted to by many on FR, it is biologically normal for men to be sexually interested in teenaged girls who have reached puberty.
If we are agreed on that, what is the proper moral way for men to conduct themselves towards women, or as a separate case, minor girls, who sexually interest them? What is the proper way for society to channel the male sexual urge?
Is it moral and proper for a man to shout to a minor girl, a stranger to him, “Shake it baby!” Is it proper for a man to approach a minor girl and claim that he is doing a health survey on women with large breasts?
Is it proper for a man to put his hand on a woman’s backside in the subway? Is it in any way right for a man to seize a woman by the wrist, pull her down to sit next to him and put his other hand on her breast?
Is it in any way sensible or intelligent for a man to regard a natural physical attribute in a woman as the same kind of signal that a deliberate choice of clothing is? Especially when the woman is modestly dressed, and averting her gaze, and trying to keep her distance?
Should young punk boys be encouraged to say, “Great ass” to a woman twice their age, or in gang of four, ride by her on their bicycles and grab at her breasts?
Does a man have any obligation to try to figure out if his advances would be welcome to a woman, or if they would make her uncomfortable, unhappy, threatened or ashamed?
If a woman should strive for an understanding of the male psyche, does not a man have the obligation to strive to understand the female psyche? And the sensibilities of any particular woman to whom he addresses himself?
If I allow that the male sexual urge, particularly in young men, is normally and healthily very strong, almost constant, and fairly omnivorous - if I do not judge men for their thoughts - do not I have the right to judge them by their conduct?
And you - as a presumably moral man, as a citizen invested in our society - how do you require men to channel their sexual urges, and conduct themselves towards women?

I have no idea. However, my best guess is that doctors studying the phenomenon of female puberty are not particularly involved in researching homosexuality.
I’d say immature boys hung up on Playboy and all those other sex mags. I raised 3 boys, and found the crap in their backpacks more than once when they were growing up. They’d get them from their friends, because I sure never gave them money for chores that was part of living/supporting and being provided for. When confronted, it’s not mine, but my friends. They went in the trash. But I kept finding more. And those went in the trash too. I didn’t allow locks on bedroom doors, nor did I knock. You had rules to follow and you’d best follow them unless you wanted to spend a month going to bed after you hand washed every dish in the sink. T me off more and it got extended.
I’m the opposite, by 5th grade I was wearing B cups, by 10th C, by 12th D’s. I dressed modestly, as most of my clothes were hand me downs from older cousins as I couldn’t fit in my age group’s clothing tops. I was still baby pudgy and never had a date until I was 18, but then I had old fashion parents with MORALS too.
