Mitt Romney blasted the Republican Party on Saturday for not doing more to stop presumptive nominee Donald Trump, saying that the prospects for the party are bleak.

During a discussion in Park City, Utah, where Romney is hosting his annual conservative summit, the 2012 presidential nominee singled out Trump’s former rivals Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Gov. John Kasich (R-Ohio), the last two candidates to drop out of the race against Trump.

"Ted Cruz was basically praising Donald Trump through the whole process," Romney told discussion host and CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer. And Kasich “was in well after the time there was no possible pathway to becoming the nominee."

"Seeing this is breaking my heart," he added of the future of the party.

Romney has intensified his attacks on Trump over the weekend during his annual retreat.

During another interview with Blitzer on Friday, Romney accused Trump of promoting “trickle-down” racism, misogyny and bigotry.

Cry me a river. Failed 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney was reportedly in tears when he told attendees of his Summit, which has been described as a “safe space” for the “Never Trump” smart set, that seeing Trump as the Republican nomination was breaking his heart. One wonders if Romney is really sad that Trump’s candidacy has resonated with working Americans more than his inflexible and robotic campaign ever did. Romney also reportedly ripped Ted Cruz and John Kasich for not taking on Trump harsh enough from the outset. But where was “tough guy” Romney when Trump was rising in the polls? He, like most of the GOP Smart Set who have never been in touch with the party’s voters, probably thought Trump’s candidacy would fade away.

1.) It is considered standard FR protocol that if you are going to refer to someone, you *ping* them, otherwise it is pretty much assumed that you're nothing but an ignoramus. Of course you have now established that if not by your behavior, by your 3 months of 'residence'.

2.) The Mormon religion is nearly as depraved as Islam, minus the violence. As for Romney being homosexual, I've seen no evidence of that, but it is clear that he has no balls at all, if he had attacked Obama as viciously as he has attacked conservatives, he would be President right now.

I just realized one of your major malfunctions, you have a dyslexic quality to your thinking, you made the comment in quotes "interesting" when in fact I had not even used that word in my post #196. What I had actually said was that I believed that things would be come "entertaining", but somewhere your neurons got confused and you responded with "interesting".

And it is clear that you continued to project your own emotions upon me, "ergo" (you like that word don't you?) by suggesting that I am "angry and childish".
