Donald Trump's Business Plan Left a Trail of Unpaid Bills (WSJ-RINO Hit Piece)
Wall Street Journal ^ | 06/09/2016 | Alexandra Berzon

Donald Trump often boasts on the presidential campaign trail that hardball tactics helped make him a successful businessman, an approach many voters say they admire. Those tactics have also left behind bitter tales among business owners who say he shortchanged them.

A review of court filings from jurisdictions in 33 states, along with interviews with business people, real-estate executives and others, shows a pattern over Mr. Trump’s 40-year career of his sometimes refusing to pay what some business owners said Trump companies owed them.

A chandelier shop, a curtain maker, a lawyer and others have said Mr. Trump’s companies agreed to buy goods and services, then reneged when some or all were delivered....

“There are a multitude of accounts how Democrat politicians have not paid their bills.”

Even their Tax Bill!

Ladies & gentlemen...ya all better quick, and, come to terms at what is really at stake in this upcoming POTUS election. Yes...it is about Donald J. Trump, but only a very small part of this critical path election is. Mr. Trump is the messanger & leader of the movement to save out country, and all those folks that reside within it. It is more about you, your families, your country, your future, your destiny and the destiny of you kids, grandkids and every American child, yet to be born in the future!!!

Instead of hanging on to print rags like the WSJ, etc., you should seriously worry about our once great nation decending into becoming “The Barack Hussein Obama & Hillary Clinton new Venezula”!!!

I sure hope that thousands of good folks turn out this evening for the “FIRST” Trump General Election Rally being held in Richmaond, virginia this evening at 7:00 PM!!! Folks, do it....by the thousands!!! Onward, Donald J. Trump, onward to victory!!!

I am on the board of our Public Improvement District. We have about a $1 million annual budget.

We got a list of properties that haven’t paid their assessment (it is part of their property tax) and there were 6 pages of single space properties that were delinquent. Some were delinquent as many as 5 years!

Upon closer inspection, I determined that nearly all of the properties were owned by banks or developers.

When I inquired about this I was told it was common practice for banks and developers to not pay their property taxes until the property is sold. At that point the delinquencies are just added to the sale price of the home!

I was told that tracking and paying taxes on all of the properties these developers own would cost much more than any penalties they incur.

These firms delivered substandard work. The proof is that law firm in the USA story that did not get paid for representing Trump in some of the no-pay nuisance suits. They did substandard work by failing to get favorable settlements for Trump. Ergo, he didn’t pay. I probably wouldn’t either.

I had some brief experience in the construction industry, and it’s an epidemic there.

They all subcontract work to one another at various times, and often somebody gets stiffed. It creates very bitter feelings. Physical assaults have occurred a generation after somebody got stiffed.

LOL
That’s it?

That’s all they have

Any businessman worth a few billion has some bills he disagrees with and so does not pay.

I love his answer- if their work was not up-to-par, they didn’t get paid.

REMINDER: Many companies file bogus claims with huge corporations hoping they will just pay it rather than deal with the cost of fighting it.

My hunch is that these businesses have already taken their cases to court/arbitration and lost. Otherwise, they would have placed mechanic liens against Trump properties and obtained payment. The argument that is okay because Democrats do it is not a good one; two wrongs do not make a right, and this definitely will not persuade wavering voters to support Trump. The correct argument to use is the above stated.

However, if you want to go down that road (that Democrats do this too) with your wavering voter, I suggest you bring up Whitewater and how the Clintons treated people who missed just one payment on the property they were purchasing!

I don’t know to what extent any of this is true or even if it is true. Nor will I ever know, because any reporting by the WSJ on Trump is tainted, and therefore questionable.

But either way I don’t particularly care.

We need to return this country to it’s rightful owners, and we need to do it now. Donald J. is the man for the job.

And the Journal can take a hike.

Trump has made it clear on many occasions that he simply will not pay for botched or otherwise cruddy work or serious incompetence. This is nothing new, and it’s entirely reasonable. Certain people agreed to provide him with specific services. If they fail to do what they actually agreed on, then they shouldn’t be paid. If only our government were so demanding.

If a company consistently fails to pay their invoices in the correct amount due guess what?......vendors cut them off, and/or, offer merchandise or services on a COD basis only. The market will weed out the deadbeats in a hurry.

It’s not the charge, its the fact that folks that should know better wouldn’t have published it.

On Zerohedge yesterday, for example, they noted that there are only two countries in the world that tax their expats.

One of them, Eritrea, charges 2 percent, and is being excoriated by the UN for the outrage of such a practice.

The other country, of course, is the USA, and their rate can be as high as 39 percent.

Silence. Nothing. UN says nothing. The WSJ says nothing.

Me and a friend in college used to sit around drinking silver bullets and list all the professions that were less honorable than prostitution.

The premise was that when you paid a prostitute, you got value for money and the deal was done. The willingness to supply was as morally questionable as the willingness to demand, but if one took proper precautions the damage to society at large was relatively benign and limited.

As such, you put ‘prostitutes’ at the top of your list of professions, and worked your way down.

Used car salesmen
Military Detailers (we were in the USCG at the time)
Divorce Lawyers
Whole-Life Insurance Salesmen
State Representatives
Congressmen
Senators
Lobbyists
etc.

Down near the bottom, down near the very bottom of the list has to be journalists.
