"Rules are rules, and the blowback from that will do more damage to the down ballot in every state more than we can calculate more than a massive Trump loss at the top would do, said a Florida Republican. This is WOAH!!!

No.
Ignore the minority report, unite the party, bring in persuadable voters, and win. Everyone wants a winner. If he loses it is all for nought.
I dream Trump could humble himself, surreptitiously attend Romney's conference off the political record, privately, and ask face to face for forgiveness and reconciliation as a Christian brother for anyone there he has personally offended, with Dr. Ben Carson at his side.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. ― Marcus Tullius Cicero

“Among the comments was a recent suggestion that an American-born judge presiding over a civil suit in which he is a defendant cant be impartial because of the judges Mexican heritage.”
He didn’t say that. He did not generalize in that manner. He said in this specific case. Not that pointing that out matters.

Romney is holding a summit that is discussing how to rebuild the GOP after November. I loathe that man.

Must be nice for the GOPe to have the Democrat Party and the media so completely on their side on this one. This just highlights the uniparty the elites have set up for themselves in this nation.
The only question is just how far are they will to go to put down the peasants and their candidate, and how far are the peasants willing to go to stop them.
This has the potential to be one of the most interesting political contests this nation has ever had. I am referring to the contest between the elites and the rest of the nation, not between Trump and Clinton. Though in this case, they coincide.

As a national delegate to the GOP convention I will work to push through any rule necessary to deny Trump the nomination, a Colorado Republican said. If he is our nominee, I believe the party will lose races all the way down the ticket. Trump will win in a landslide and he will have long coattails.

No kidding
What people forget ( or maybe never knew) was that the same D.C. political class was insane about Reagan too. They tried floating the same nonsense before the convention. Even at the convention they kept trying to get Reagan to nominate Ford as his VP. We got stuck with Daddy Bush but at lest it wasn’t Ford.

They just dont get it. We the people won this time for a change. The elites arent the ones dictating this election. They can try to take us and our candidate down, but were at the point where wed let the whole house (party) burn if they do that.
The remarkable thing is the snivelers in the party most criticizing Trump over his remarks about Curiel have never criticized the Democrats for making the same argument for over four decades now when it comes to white judges, justices, and juries. Nor did they complain when Sonia Sotomayor explicitly said that her ethnicity and gender play a role in her decisions on the bench. Thus, these back-stabbing cucks are just as responsible for the radical double standards as the hard leftists who invented them in the first place. They disgust me.

Only four in ten insiders? I’d have thought it would have been 10 out of 10. Maybe some getting the message.
