After a rocky start to his general-election campaign, a sizable number of GOP insiders want the party to change the rules to short-circuit Donald Trumps nomination at the July national convention. Nearly four-in-10 Republican members of The POLITICO Caucus a panel of activists, operatives and strategists in 10 key states would like to see changes that could deny Trump the partys nod after the presumptive nominee began the November campaign without a credible campaign structure, in addition to making a series of erratic and inflammatory comments. Among the comments was a recent suggestion that an American-born judge presiding over a civil suit in which he is a defendant cant be impartial because of the judges Mexican heritage.

I’m surprised it is only 40% of the “Politico caucus.” I would think that bunch would be more on the order of 80% #NeverTrump.
EXACTLY.
WTF is the Politico Caucus, and why should I give 2 sh!ts?
They do list the people with the qualifier:
“Not all Politico DBags took part in the poll”
Meaning who knows, it is a worthless poll done by democrats to submarine Trumps destruction of Hildebeast.
Something tells me that Trump will continue to get more and more support, demolishing her in the finals.
How many will defend him? How many defended him yesterday?
Trump's opponents trashed Trump all day long yesterday.
In the aage of BO'B and common core, numbers no longer have any meaning. TRiUMPh
.
Ive been wondering about this because I know some people in my home state who are well placed in politics and one is a delegate. She was very much pro-Cruz and she has been unusually quiet since Cruz left the race.
Sounds like me. Never have I detested both candidates running. The only reason I’m voting for Trump is because I detest Hillary more, plus my Senator Cruz will still be in the Senate to keep Trump from going hard left.
This is WOAH!!!
Propagandio strikes again.
“Let’s you and him fight!”
4 in 10 are really dems too stupid to know theyre in the wrong political party.
So 40% are non strategic thinkers.
“Among the comments was a recent suggestion that an American-born judge presiding over a civil suit in which he is a defendant cant be impartial because of the judges Mexican heritage.”
He didn’t say that. He did not generalize in that manner. He said in this specific case. Not that pointing that out matters.
Romney is holding a summit that is discussing how to rebuild the GOP after November. I loathe that man.
That’s not what the American people want.
So what they are saying is that he has 60% support (so far)!!!
THAT’S GREAT
The GOPe is not running this election. WE the Legal American Voter is running this election...we are not listening to them, if they try anything, they will go down in flames...Trump IS going to the Oval Office...deal with it!!!
Sounds like me. Never have I detested both candidates running. The only reason Im voting for Trump is because I detest Hillary more, plus my Senator Cruz will still be in the Senate to keep Trump from going hard left.
I hear you. I never thought I would have such disdain for someone running for office. I am at the point where I can’t stand the sight of Hillary Clinton. I hate her horse teeth which are displayed when she cackles, I hate the cackles, I hate the way she cackles at inappropriate times, I hate the nodding of the head when people ask her questions, I hate her hair which looks like she’s wearing a helmet, I hate the hectoring and condescending tone of voice and lectures to us about how wonder whatever liberal policy she is pushing is, I hate the sounds of the voice which is like nails on the chalkboard, etc. etc. etc.
Are these insiders Delegates?-)
1542!
Go Trump Go!
You detest Donald Trump? Why?
