With disapproval among the GOP mounting over Donald Trump’s controversial comments about the ethnicity of a federal judge, chatter is surfacing about ways to block the real estate mogul’s nomination at the convention in Cleveland this summer.

“I think the party ought to change the nominee, because we’re gonna get killed with this nominee,” said conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt. “They ought to get together and let the convention decide.”

Steve Deace, another conservative radio host, has also been calling on GOP convention delegates to revolt.

Naturally George Step front group is leading the charge.
Trump needs to tell Paul Ryan to step aside and Mitch McConnell too and they are not invited to the convention .

Cut them off at the knees .

Dream on you idiots in the GOPe. It ain’t gonna happen. Besides do you really think Trump supporters would show up in November if you stripped him of his rightful nomination? But you can’t anyways, so do me a personal favor Hugh Hewitt, Mitt Romney et al, and just STFU.

“I think the party ought to change the nominee, because we’re gonna get killed with this nominee,”

Hey Hewitt, I think you should just switch parties so you don't have to "get killed"

You will get killed worse if you deny our pick. Try and see fools.

And for Hewitt to think there’s even a slim chance of a net gain in votes by pissing off the millions of Americans that have voted for Trump in the primaries, shows how out of touch with reality he is. Or super crappy at math. Or he’s a Hillary shill that hates America.

Whatever it is, Hugh Hewitt and the other GOPe clowns have firmly staked out the ground on the wrong side and will suffer for it.

We know that Hugh is not a stupid person. Therefore he’s a very disingenuous as*clown. Trump won more votes than any previous Republican. From VT to WA and OR to FLA he won big. Yes according to Hugh he’s going to get crushed.

We think they have nothing to think with. They certainly have learned nothing thus far. It will take a baseball bat to pound any ‘knowledge’ into this little masses of grey cells.HH? How as this smart ‘thinker’ made it to the heights he has? My dog had more smarts than this character.

Its not gonna happen.

Delegates are bound to vote for the winner of their state on the first ballot.

For them to decide we can disregard 14 million voters would be tantamount to the party committing political suicide.

No one is going to listen to the bleatings of the #NeverTrumpers. If they don’t like it, they’re free to leave the party.

They talk a lot about party loyalty but they won’t walk the walk.

Its clear they’ll never be won over by Trump but he won without their backing and all they can do is shout into the wind.

As I said before, the Republican Party can do as they please. And it pleases them to do everything their power to steal the nomination to Donald. What I am going to do, if I live that long is check the box next to Donald’s name on the ballot. Failing that, write in Donald’s name on the write in line. Turn the ballot in and walk out the door. If I am not alive on election day, I will vote Democrat. But look for every Republican member of Congress that has to run for election to be defeated.

The conundrum that is becoming clear to even low-info conservatives: Trump is the last person Hillary wants to face, while Trump is licking his chops over the prospect.

As each day goes by it becomes more clear to working Americans that this insect Deace, the NWO Bushes, ‘free traders’ McConnell, Romney & for one example, the Club for Growth, spurred on by their clients, and fierce armchair warrior Kristol—all of them—would rather lose to Hillary than back Trump.
Let that soak in ...

The problem for them is that a lot of people don’t want this insane, malicious incompetent harridan anywhere near the White House next year.

Whatever happens, these “conservative, but moderate” Republicrats, now a branch of the Democrat party, these neo-con serpents are toast.
And they know it, but are rearranging deck chairs as fast as they can with ‘Last Ditch Effort XIV’.

Ask yourself who is pulling Hugh’s strings....there’s always a reason why people do what they do.

Perhaps it is merely personal preservation driving Hewitt and the other #NeverTrump GOPe talk hosts et al.

Perhaps their thinking is that if Trump wins, less discontent among the talk radio demographic which translates into lower listenership. If Hillz wins, disenfranchised conservatives will listen to Hewitt and others shout their daily outrages...
