Battle Rages as GOP Saves Obama Plot to Diversify Neighborhoods
The New American ^ | 06 June 2016 | Alex Newman

Posted on 06/08/2016 11:10:14 AM PDT by detective

After some grandstanding to placate outraged constituents, establishment Republicans in Congress quietly voted to fund Obama's unconstitutional plan to fundamentally transform your neighborhood by bringing in more federally funded “diversity.” In short, if Big Brother's race-obsessed data-gathering machine determines that there are not enough poor or minority residents on welfare living in your city, town, zip code, or neighborhood, Obama wants to change that using your tax dollars. The scheme also sidelines states and borders by considering “regions” instead, a key element of the agenda to break down the traditional United States and its federalist system of government.

But the battle is far from over. And Americans still have many tools at their disposal to block the scheming. For instance, the “Affirmatively Further Fair Housing” plot is contingent on successfully bribing local officials into compliance. As more than a few analysts have observed, that means cities and communities can easily reject the plan. Simply stated, all they have to do is refuse to accept unconstitutional bribes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). If the bribes (disguised as “grants” and so on) from a bankrupt Uncle Sam are refused, the strings they come attached with are null and void, leaving Washington, D.C., bureaucrats with no leverage. Some cities are already leading the way.

Sadly, my Catholic Church has been co-opted, and has all to often agreed to take the Federal money, strings attached.

Trump calling out a La Raza-connected judge is “unpresidential” and a problem to these cockroaches, but allowing the Obama agenda to continue destroying our country is ok....

Pubs should be congenitally allergic to such socialist schemes.
Our town is in a planning process. First suggestion was a bike path linking inner city to wealthier section of town. I blew up the proceedings with the first question: do you intend to use eminent domain for the land needed for the bike path? They freaked and tried to overtalk me; said I was mistaken about the route they had just announced. For each revised route, I asked how they intended to acquire the land. Later newspaper articles said nobody asked questions, nobody objected, eminent domain never came up. Our consultants were from Sustainable Transportation Systems, out of Ithaca, NY (City of Evil). Conflict of interest much?

At some point, our town supervisor jumped up and said “This is going through regardless.” and “We need it for our HUD grant application.”

Elements of UN Agenda 21, global warming, control of private property, Alinsky communications, Delphi training of “facilitators,” and other leftist outrages were obvious to me. If long-range planning is going on in your community, attend, participate, and bring young neighbors. One common rebuttal was that it was a 30 year plan. Implication: the fogies at the meeting would be dead by then.

Another chapter in “the Republicans are terrified of being called racist” saga.

Had the GOP blocked this, Obama and the press would have called the GOP racist for “fighting the integration of upper middle class neighborhoods.” So, the GOP caves.

Why don’t they start with Martha’s Vinyard, or Chappaqua, or those uber rich counties in northern Virgina?

Thanks, Republicans.

Two years ago, my neighborhood was quiet, clean, crime free, 70% white, and 30% Asian.

Then, my enlightened Socialist City Council decided we lacked diversity and income equality (translation: no Black people).

So, they built four hundred units of Section 8 housing just 100 yards away from my apartment.

Then, they built a 275 bed homeless shelter right across the street from the Section 8 apartments.

If this is true, it is indeed clearly an absolute betrayal of the most fundamental American principles. It is also stupidity compounded by cowardice for anyone who actually understands American history or accepts the rights of rooted Americans to continue in their cultural heritage.

17th is but a start.

Make ‘em telecommute. No donations/solicitations/meetings/etc. from any non-voting-able entity. Make the State responsible for the $$ of their office/security/benefits/etc. Ensure any/every bill is paid by the % of each State population (oil pipeline in AK? CA/NY/etc. pay a larger share...That’ll get eyes on each expenditure).

Got more, but some of us have to work for a living...

That neatly sums up our situation in one sentence. The phrase “Taxation without representation” also comes to mind. We know what happened last time that was the case.

Best explanation that I have heard is that this is a scheme to empty crappy neighborhoods that are in desirable locations then they can grab the land for their developer donors.

Here’s the reality.

If Obama cancels American elections and proclaims himself King for Life, the Republicans would grouse to their constituents, but privately be thrilled.
