On the pleasant summer evening of July 17, 1996, TWA Flight 800 left JFK Airport in New York bound for Paris. Twelve minutes after takeoff, about ten miles south of the popular south shore of Long Island, at least two surface-to-air missiles blew the 747 out of the sky, killing all 230 people on board.
I write the above with 100 percent confidence. I owe that confidence to the efforts of a small corps of committed individuals -- eyewitnesses, independent researchers, whistleblowers from within the investigation, and family members who have turned their grief into action. In attempting to get at the truth, at least three of these people were arrested, several others were thrown off the TWA 800 investigation, and every one of them was ridiculed.

What makes the story so compelling is that these everyday citizens have struggled against a Goliath that could not have been more powerful. The opposition includes, among other powers, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), the FBI, and the CIA.
In a totalitarian country, authorities can suppress information at will. In America, the media have to collaborate in that suppression, and this they did, closing their eyes to the obvious and accepting without evidence the governments unproven theory of a spontaneous fuel tank explosion.

That scenario explains the coverup best. No way Clinton could have avoided getting stuck with the "Bill's Underfunded and Incompetent Navy" charge in the 1996 election. As to how hard it would be to "keep a whole ship quiet", it seems probable only a few Navy personnel would know exactly what had happened. The Clintons didn't have any trouble keeping half of Arkansas quiet in 1992.

I think Jack had mentioned a Cherokee 6 or an Arrow - some six-seater single-engine (probably turbo’d) plane that could reach that 16,000-25,000 altitude. Packed with explosives to T-bone the 747.
My TWA captain friend (now passed) talked to me at length about that, especially the chemical residue on the seats’ fabric. It’s been a long time since I’ve read anything on TW800, so the details are a bit fuzzy.
Wayne Shorter played with Miles, co-founded Weather Report and played the incredible sax solo on the Steely Dan track, “Aja” along with Steve Gadd’s solo on drums.
I didn’t realize that Wayne Shorter had a connection to the flight. What a talent - innovative and bold.
I watched the news reports that night as soon as it happened. There was one video shot from the ground clearly showing a missile exhaust trail coming up from the ground and intercepting the plane. It was shown a few times then it went down the black hole. When the center fuel tank BS started they claimed the missile trail was actually flames from the tank vent as the fuel tank blew up. It was then I knew the whole investigation was a cover up.
The manifest should tell a story, my guess is there was someone on that plane that needed to be taken care of just like commerce secretary brown

Sounds very logical. It’s not going to cover it on that case.
Dig through it all for any length of time and you'll see how long the Clinton Crime Family has been in operation, the long list of things they have gotten away with, their basic, time tested methodologies and more.
Given all of that, is there any real reason to believe "they" couldn't keep the truth of TWA Flt. 800 quiet for as long as necessary?
And hey, wasn't that CIA video awesome? Totally convincing, especially for those who trust the Government implicitly, like the WWII generation and the loyal democratic types. They were going to believe whatever a charming demonrat president told them and fight the lies told about their president. Can't we just Move On?
Personally I don't know what happened, but I don't believe the "official" story. I think the witnesses are far more compelling in this case.
Regardless, it's a good thing Boeing "fixed" all the other B747s with that same problem!
They must have fixed them all, right? Since no other B747 has gone BOOM! due to that frayed wire in the gas tank problem.

I honestly don't know what to believe about this incident, although the notion of some "spontaneous spark" igniting fuel vapor inside the tank seems rather ludicrous...

No way it was a Navy missile. I would literally believe little green men in a flying saucer did it before I would believe a Navy CG or DDG engaged, fired, and guided to intercept, then kept completely quiet about it. Aliens or Elvis on a flying unicorn are more likely.
