Paul Ryan is playing right into Donald Trump’s master plan
CNBC ^ | June 7, 2016 | Jake Novak

Posted on 06/07/2016 11:33:45 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Here we go again.

Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump has done it this time. His attacks on the Mexican heritage of federal Judge Gonzalo Curiel clearly show that Trump's campaign is off the rails. The proof is that even prominent Republican leaders like House Speaker Paul Ryan and former Speaker Newt Gingrich have disavowed themselves from Trump's attacks on the judge. Surely, this is the beginning of the Trump campaign's self-destruction!

Not so fast my friends.

Let me rewrite the opening paragraph to represent the true Trump strategy here, one I don't endorse but still recognize for what it is:

Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump has done it again. His attacks on the Mexican heritage of federal Judge Gonzalo Curiel clearly show that Trump's campaign is still following its uncharted but calculated path. The proof is that even prominent Republican leaders like House Speaker Paul Ryan and former Speaker Newt Gingrich have disavowed themselves from Trump's attacks on the judge. Surely this is the continuation of the Trump campaign's brash efforts to separate itself from the Republican Party — not so much in reality, but in voter perception....

google this
“comments from jeff sessions on la raza judge, trump”

and you will be able to see the article from WSJ. Saw it myself w/o a paywall notation.

Good luck, Sen Sessions had NOTHING detrimental to say about Mr. Trump when the shoe was dropped....just my take away. Do the google thing and see for yourself.

“Christie now looking pretty loyal, a trait admired by Mr. Trump. I heard he was at Trump Tower today - perhaps discussing the VP slot with #45.”

NOOOOOOO!!!!!

Christie is a very anti-gun guy, I wouldn’t even trust him as AG (and, thus, head of ATF). Put him at Homeland Security.

Trey Gowdy for AG. I’m still with Newt as Veep, given his very deep legislative experience, his sense of history, and his knowledge of EMP - our vulnerability to this will be significantly reduced under Trump.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Christie came around to Trump’s way of thinking on the 2nd amendment - it’s almost like watching Trump’s rise has given some the spine to say what they think rather than weigh all of their thoughts and words up against political correctness and how the msm is going to trash them.

Laura Ingraham is strong on Christie as well - I haven’t heard her address the gun thing though.

I like things about Newt too, but like you said, he tends to shoot off his mouth with some political correct bloviation at times.

I don’t know if this person is even out there, but I want Donald Trump to find a VP who thinks like he does on illegal immigration to the point of being unapologetic for advocating deportation.

Good question. Another question: Is this judge an ANCHOR BABY, per the ERRONEOUS LEFTIST INTERPRETATION OF THE 14TH AMENDMENT?

I love Sarah, but she has become too much of a liability, due to the media’s obsession with destroying her. Besides, Trump doesn’t need any rumors flying around with a woman being his VP.

Trump is braver than I am.

And by calling the guy a “Mexican,” even though he was born in Indiana, Trump is showing how Marxism makes even native-born Americans into racists.

It is the libtard strategy to promote and exploit divisiveness. The repub elites and establishment are buying into it. It results in honest, objective an unbiased people afraid to say what they really think.

I’ve been suspicious of Newt ever since his divorce from wife #2 and quickly “found” wife #3. He’s not a faithful
friend.

Donald Trump is pointing out the racist judge.
Anyone associated with La Raza is a racist.

“Why did Newt self destruct?”

It’s the essential question about Newt.

Newt could have been great, as in founding fathers great. Yet, every time he gets near the top of the mountain, he self destructs in the stupidest manner.

I’m surprised he has any feet left, given how often he shoots himself in the foot.

If we will but take notice, these great media assaults against TRUMP are s&i+ storms for the consumption by TRUMP supporters and undecided in an attempt to take back the ground TRUMP has already claimed with voters, as he exposes the corrupt Left and the RYAN RIGHT political correctness.

What’s to notice is that this full frontal media attack generally lasts for about five days, and then enough facts surface and the storm blows up in their face, or passes into oblivion.

TRUMP drags them all, the whole nasty pack, like a worm on the hook of his fishing line.
