LEVITTOWN, Pa. – Police say a suburban Philadelphia pharmacy owner shot and killed a would-be robber wearing a Halloween mask and carrying a shotgun.
Falls Township police Lt. Henry Ward says the gunfire broke out just before 10 a.m. Friday at the Pennsbury Pharmacy. He says the gunman got out of the passenger seat of a minivan in the parking lot, walked in and went behind the store counter before the pharmacist fired nearly a dozen rounds at him.

The getaway driver, who was in a green minivan stolen out of New Jersey, didn’t appear to be aware of the shooting inside the pharmacy and was arrested by officers responding to the shooting, the police official said.
The driver is obviously a victim of post slavery America; he lives in a ‘hood where a dozen shots going off is a big fat nothing.
After 12 rounds, there’s not much left to identify let alone dissect.

PA has a personnel “castle doctrine” written into law, the pharmacist has no requirement to retreat if he feels his life is in danger. Chap coming in with a shotgun is pretty much a threat to life.
If the Pharmacist is to face a grand jury because of a white /black thing, it would be at Doylestown, and I very much doubt any charges would be filed. Live 10 miles north of the courthouse, and this area has gone from being centrist-liberal well-meaning folks to a bunch of grim faced folks who have had it with bad behavior by designated victim groups.

Smart pharmacist, he knows it only takes one round from a shotgun to take the pharmacist out. Fire all the rounds available at the perp to make sure he won't get off the first shotgun round.

Buildings make excellent silencers. Consider having a silencer on your firearm as big as a house.
That is what is happening when you fire a gun inside an enclosed space.
Then, the driver was inside another enclosed space. Maybe he had the engine running and the music on.
He never heard the shooting.
