I watched the Chief of Police today and what he said made me seethe. If they (the victims) don’t look in danger, we won’t risk our officers going in and getting hurt. Just heard Levin make a good point. Whenever the klan held marches, or the time (1977?) some neo nazis planned a march through Skokie, IL which had a large Jewish population at the time the local police had a game plan days in advance of these events and were prepared for any potential problems. Those San Jose’s finest no doubt were given orders to stand down from higher up. And so what if a few Trump supporters get their heads bashed in, a little collateral damage never hurt anyone (is a sarc tag necessary?)

Ladies and gents, it’s time to stop whining about the law protecting Trump protesters. Hell, when has the Republican party as a whole really protected us that well. Start showing up at these rallies in large numbers AND armed with something (a knife, brass knuckles, a sap, a walking cane, something.) It’s time to start making the other side bleed.
Don't take it personally, but with the exception of the bit about "showing up at these rallies in large numbers", that's got to be the dumbest collection of tactics I've ever seen posted...anywhere.
First, anybody entering one of these rallies gets exactly the same screening (metal detectors, take-everything-metallic-out-of-pockets, don't bring anything faintly resembling a weapon, etc.) that you'd expect to see at any large-scale gathering, so you bring your brass nucks and all you're going to get is the nucks go in a box marked "Confiscated" and you're going to have an attitude adjustment session with some VERY serious and professional Security types.
More to the point, if anybody so much as speaks harshly to one of those thugs, the media would promptly paint Trump (in this case) along with the entire population of anyone who ever considered voting for him as the worst, most bloodthirsty, vile, violent specimens to set foot on the planet. Give one of 'em so much as a mini-bandaid owwee, even in certifiable self-defense and all you would accomplish is answer the slimes' every wet dream to let 'em rant "Hate" crimes and demand you/all of the rest of us be banished or simply wiped out of existence.
Or did it just never occur to you to wonder why the current bunch in the WH bought up all that ammunition and then put their very own Department of "Just Us" in overall command and control of all of those Police Departments?

The media is against you (me)....period. That’s why they’re actually blaming the Trump supporters for the violence. If they ARE going to blame the Trump supporters for the violence, then at least have the balls (and the means) to protect yourself.
If Anti-Trump supporters start getting their heads kicked in, then sobriety will start to set in. Trump supporters should show up at rallies EXPECTING this stuff (especially in So Cal).
It seems like we’re slowly starting to bring this country out of it’s wussification. Let’s not squash that by getting our thongs in a wad about defending ourselves at a Trump rally.....sheesh.
